Zeenie Dolls

So I saw these dolls awhile ago and thought they were pretty cool and now they're available at TRU for $49.99 so I wanted to share. Zeenie's are eco-friendly BJD's. Each character represents a problem with the environment like there's one for the polar caps and one for the rainforests. What do you all think?

They are cute dolls and I really love the theme, but $50?! Seems a bit steep. Do you know how tall they are? I could see that price if they were, like, 18" articulated dolls.

The price tag seems a bit much.  They look cute but the plush bird looks off it took me a while to find his beak.

They're only 12" but the price is because they're made from all recycled plastics and they're ball-jointed.
