What should have been a super easy trade of my pony for a few of her LPS figures turned into just over a month of messages, questions being ignored and waiting.

The trade started out normal enough and she had decent feedback and replied to my messages quickly so I didn't think anything was off until I actually mailed my pony. I had initially contacted her on Oct 12th and after sending pics back and forth and deciding the trade she had said she could mail on Monday, Oct 27th so I agreed to ship the same day. So when Monday came around I put the pony in the mail and PM'd her the tracking and said "thanks again for the trade" expecting to get a tracking number back or at least an "I mailed yours also" type of response.
Instead I got "Thanks to you too! : )" on Oct 28th? Nothing about mailing my package.
My tracking showed delivery to her on Oct 29th.
On the 30th I got "Thanks so much! Expect your littlest pet shop pets soon."
I assumed the "thanks so much" meant she got the pony?
Then on Nov 3rd I get "Expect your package soon : )"
I didn't get anything in the mail so on Nov 6th I began asking about a tracking number or when the package to me had been mailed. This question was avoided by her saying that she hadn't gotten "Bonnie Bonnets" yet... which was not even the pony I sent her. Nothing about when her half of the trade might have been mailed. I replied that I had sent her Glittering Gem which showed as being delivered, copied the tracking and again asked about my half of the trade. Again she replies that she hadn't received anything from me and did not say anything about my package from her being mailed.
Then she apparently sends me $10 via Paypal "to cover half the pony and shipping" and says something about not getting the package if it was sent to NY? (her address was in MA).
This goes on and on for a number of messages with her each time not answering anything I ask until I actually call her post office and leave a message with the postmaster inquiring about the package and providing the tracking number. The next day I get a PM from her saying she received it. She also listed the pony up on her Etsy account immediately as "Sparkle Gem". Not sure if it was actually an issue that the PO had not put the package in her PO Box or if me calling her PO made her realize that the pony better magically appear in her possession.

In the meantime I finally get this response about her not mailing my package:
"Also I have had an injury and for the past 2 weeks have not been strong. I was thinking oh I'll let her know her package is on its way soon thinking once I got yours I would send it out. Since I didn't I was confused too. So sorry. I will send it out priority Monday. I tried to today as well."

Monday comes and goes without tracking so I request it on Tuesday and she just copies the number. I get the package 5 days later which does include the 3 pets I traded for plus other pets and the accessories that were in the picture. Not sure if this was her trying to "make things right" or if she just couldn't remember which ones I wanted so she dumped the whole lot in the mail.

So this was from Oct 12 to Nov 15 drawn out with not shipping and ignoring the same questions over and over and such bother. Should have been such an easy, easy swap.

(And of course kicking myself for not running a search before contacting her in the first place). She obviously did the same thing to a number of other people and has not learned anything about trading in the past year despite claiming that she had back then.

Can anyone help me with a value on this gal?

She is missing her tail and the bottom orange section of her mane has been cut an inch or two and is a little dry.
She is missing 2-3 plugs at the base of her mane.
She has a symbol rub on her display side and a small green mark on her lip.
She has a slight head/body mismatch.
She has a tiny little indent under her chin and on her back ankle.

I don't seem to have the best luck on Etsy so maybe I am picking the wrong sellers but I purchased something from an Etsy seller via a link she posted on a FB toy group, didn't hear anything for a week, sent a convo, 2 days later commented on FB and then the seller swiftly messaged me and canceled my order!

March 11 - made a purchase and paid for item after following links posted in the FB toy group.

March 19 (day 7) - had not gotten any type of shipping notice so looked at order confirmation e-mail and down at the bottom there is a note from the seller from 4/30/2013 about her having chemo and the store being closed until further notice. I figured great, I have bought from a store that is closed but wasn't taken down. But then she had posted her links on FB so then she must be active? I sent her this message just to check.

Hi there, I was just wondering if my order had shipped yet? I ordered a week ago and haven't gotten any kind of shipping notice or update on what I purchased so please let me know! Thanks!

March 21 (day 9) - hadn't gotten a response so I thought maybe I could leave a message on the FB post she had made about her store and she would see it there:

From me:
Hey I bought an item from your shop on March 11th and have heard nothing since. Can you give me an update on shipping or when it might be shipped out? I messaged through etsy as well but haven't heard anything back.
I sent that at 10:41pm
Not even 30 minutes later I receive 2 e-mails. One is that my order has been canceled and the other was this:

From her:
I didn't appreciate you making me look alouf on facebook by saying you haven't heard back from me, it's been less than 48 hours and my banner tells all who buy or decide to buy from me that I have cancer and a newborn and to allow up to 10 days for orders to be shipped as I do chemotherapy and radiation still every day.
I will refund you right now.

(edit) - She also blocked me on Facebook at the same time as she messaged me through Etsy.

So I sent this back to her:
I'm truly sorry Lisa! I was not trying to make anyone look bad, just genuinely trying to find out about my order. I found your store through the Facebook group so I thought maybe it was better to try to contact you through the post that I clicked on. I didn't actually see the banner as I just clicked on the item in your post and then the towel was in like a recommended items section down to the right. I have only bought a few things from etsy sellers before and when I didn't get any notice about shipping after a week or so I checked my order confirmation and saw the note at the bottom about your store being closed so I was confused since you had posted to the group so I just thought I better check and see what was going on. I definitely don't mind waiting for items as long as I know about it and I'm sorry I didn't see your actual banner which said about the 8 days that I have now located. I will try to get more familiar with where to locate policies and see if I can find another seller with the same towel that I can buy. Thank you for writing back to me.

I have not gotten a response to this message (sent 3 days ago).

Since I had never actually seen her store front I went to Etsy before composing the last message and looked and it does say "Please allow me up to 8 days to process and ship your orders." She said 10 days in her convo and I wrote on FB on day 9. Very confused, if she can response within 30 minutes to a FB post could she have sent a quick note on day 7 saying something like "Per my store policies your package will be shipped out in the next day so?"

Now this seller has over 1700 average 5 star feedbacks. Did I just catch her on a bad day or did I do something very wrong by inquiring about shipping status since it was actually stated on her storefront?

I feel like leaving her 1 star for lack of professionalism and canceling my order but I know I didn't look at store policy first. She also didn't mail out within 8 days though as I would have known my package was shipped by day 9 and that would have answered my question.

I was wondering for Sea Breeze's aqua conch shell how much does it effect the value if the suction cup is missing? The shell is fine otherwise, just no suction cup on the back.
