anyone else obsessed with disney infinity figures?

i've been collecting them for a while now, but since i finally bought the game (star wars!!!!)
i've been going hardcore into getting the figures.

wondering if i'm the only one.

Disney Infinity Figures are super cute! But since I dont own the game I only have two of my fav characters, Randal and Rocket

The ones I collect actually are Ninendo's Amiibos!

We've got quite a few of them though the only one that actively plays the games is my daughter, if I had to guess I'd have to say we have between 35-40 of them at the moment. I've even got a Loki for my little Loki collection  . We don't have the infinity 3.0 yet but we do have the figures of Disgust & Quorra.

yeah i never understood that.
i found him for 15$ which is a good price, but i left him, since he's not a character i would use.
and the resale value for me isn't that great.

I don't play the game or own any figures but I am in love with the disgust and kind of am hoping Vanellope will go on some kind of sale. They are both to cute

I'm just getting started with these. I adore Disgust from Inside Out, saw her figure, and left it. Then I went home and that bugged me, so I started "researching" and realized I want the game. I haven't bought it yet, but I'm thinking of getting it and all 5 Inside Out characters next month on the 3rd when the movie actually releases on DVD. (Might as well make an event of it. )

In the meantime, I *did* grab Han Solo so I'll have him to go with Luke and Leia when I get the Rise Against the Empire playset. Alas, I bought him at EB Games and didn't see they are putting a $3 premium on the Star Wars figures that the other stores don't seem to be doing. That's the first and last time they'll fool me.

Blessedly, htf Infinity figures seem to be the exception, rather than the rule. I love Amiibo but part of the reason I haven't gotten too into collecting them is that I have no desire to buy a currently on shelves item for 3-5x the price via eBay. I don't mind paying a markup for vintage toys because their value is decided differently, but doing that for current ones drives me crazy!

I spent years using PC programs to build games, so I'm looking forward to playing Infinity, unlocking all the tools, and seeing just what it can do.

I don't have the game yet. I was really thinking about getting it but then I heard 3.0 was coming out so I decided not to get 2.0  I have Elsa, Anna, Rapunzel, and Tinkerbell Infinity figures. I really wish Disney would release an Ariel one.

If anyone has the Target cartwheel app on their smart phone the infinity playsets (the like two pack figures) are 40% off until Saturday via cartwheel. I still want a Malificent

Mulan is out now. I think my bf will get her for me for Xmas. Rapunzel is my favorite tho bc her weapon is her frying pan.

Finally got my set last weekend. I now have Anakin, Ahsoka, Han Solo, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker. Quite happy with that for the moment. I have both available Star Wars playsets so it should keep me busy for a while.

My next purchases will likely be the Inside Out figures. I haven't touched those yet because I think my bf bought one and is sending it as a gift. Wouldn't want to end up with doubles.

Right now I only have Rapunzel. I collect Rapunzel dolls, figures, etc. so I had to get her. I do eventually want to get Anna & Elsa, and maybe Vanellope. I also have two Amiibos, both versions of Peach.

I am desperate to get the game and start collecting them! I told myself that I wouldn't collect the figures until I get the games (which I haven't actually found in the wild, for some reason), and it's so hard to resist. But I am going to start collecting them soon -- it's only a matter of time.

i will say, if you collect the figures. right now, the used figures are buy 2 get 3 free at gamestop.
so you get 5 for the price of 2.
