Show & Tell: Your first pony of the new decade
« on: January 25, 2020, 03:24:11 PM »
I thought this could be fun. Who was your first pony this year? (If you got any yet). Show some pictures and tell about it :)

I'll go first. My first and so far only pony this year is Jelly Bee. I just bought her the other day. I have been wanting her for a long time now and she was the last one I needed of the MLP The Movie baby sea ponies. But I was starting to think I would never get her as I hadn't seen her anywhere for a very long time and they are now a discontinued series. But this last Thursday I had to go to the hospital in another city for an examination and afterwards I went to a toystore there I had learned about and visited once before quite a while ago. I remember seeing Jelly Bee and the other baby sea ponies in there back then and regretting not getting her at that time. When I got to the MLP section what do you know - she's still there! There were even several of her and some of the other baby sea ponies so I could pick out the one I liked the best ^.^

Here she is with her pet dolphin who I named Flipper

and here she is hanging out on a mirror

So now I finally have the complete series of the baby sea ponies ^.^

Who was your fist pony this year? Try and remember this is a show & tell topic and accompany your post with pictures if you can! :)

I found Spring Song at Goodwill, today I found the newest G4 line with Cha Cha the llama. She’s extremely tiny.

Basic Fun Bow Tie.

Because now I know the other song tape ponies are coming, I had to have a Bow Tie to go with my AJ.

And it was awesome to see these guys in a UK store.

Not my first pony of the year, but my first second-hand pony find. A few bucks at a thrift shop. She's remarkably clean, the photo is just a bit yellowish from the lighting. She even talks and lights up her horn.

I already have one of this pony and her sister, but I found another at a thrift store a couple weeks ago.  Not wanting to leave a g1 behind, I rescued her.  Some pink, possible highlighter marks that wouldn't come off and slight damage to one eye.  But I was just excited to find her because I haven't found G1 in the wild in ages.

I wasn't particularly planning to buy any ponies this year, but then I found a rather dishevelled-looking G3 Fluttershy in a charity shop. Her hair was all matted and even had bits in it (grass, I think; she must have had some outdoor adventures), the pink streak was faded, she looked grubby and forlorn....how could I leave her?
She's now feeling much better and has become something of a favourite. She enjoys trying on ponywear :)

I bought Painting Time and Baby Sweet Stuff from a Facebook group a few days ago, but they haven't arrived yet. My first pony finds were G3's actually, found easter Toola Roola (the one with the gradient effect) and Star Surprise at the flea market today!

G4 sea ponies are SO CUTE tho. I need one.

One of my big Grails. SS Twilight
Congrats on getting a grail! SS Twilight is a beautiful pony!

I found Spring Song at Goodwill, today I found the newest G4 line with Cha Cha the llama. She’s extremely tiny.
Cool. I haven't seen those yet but it's cool they are paying homage to a G1 character!

Basic Fun Bow Tie.

I love Basic Fun Bow Tie! She's actually the only one I have seen from that round so far.

Those twins are so cute! It's pretty cool, though, that her hair is still so pink!

I absolutely love that photo of Fluttershy! And she wears that dress so well! It's funny how ponies like her who at first seem sad and worn can turn into favorites with personality :)

How funny! That rainbow is very cute and it looks like something that could have been in G1! I wish they had been released in Denmark!

Cool, I really want Starflower!

Easter Toola Roola is my fave version of her! The G4 sea ponies are pretty darn cute ^.^ I hope you get one!

No new ponies yet, but I did manage to score a Kenner Sea Wees Shimmer Sunstreak this month...
I had to Google those. They definately look like someone who could live in Ponyland :)
