G3 controller thingy?

So yesterday and today a town near me was doing city wide garage sales and I went both days.
Nothing yesterday, today I got SUPER lucky! I even found a G1 plush, I'll stick images in a spoiler at the end of this post
cus that's not really what I wanna talk about.

It looks like one of those plug-in themed shovelware game things but I honestly don't know what to make of it.
I didn't find any CDs or cartridges with it, and I'm not confident it'll do anything if I plug it into my TV.

Has anybody seen these before? Or know anything about them?
