I have two of her right now. I love these sets, they're different from the norm.

She's definitely a girl, according to her backcard (it uses female pronouns for her multiple times). I'm guessing they gave her a mane so she could have brushable hair like all the other pony friends/ponies (ditto her tail - lion tails aren't exactly like that IRL, either).

Agreed. No matter what the backcards say, I will never be convinced that Kingsley (females are rarely kings) of the bushy mane is a girl. Unless she has a testosterone problem. Hmm...

Anyway, I have him/her and want to complete the entire set of pony friends.

Meh...the pony friends are one of those sets where I'd hang onto them if one came in a lot or something, but I'd not go out of my way to get one, pass.

Have her loose. Used to have her MOC but sold her. Don't really remember why; think I was going through my "I only want to collect UK MOC ponies" phase, which didn't last long.

Kingsley has been a favorite for ages. Also in agreement about him being male. I never knew Hasbro considered him to be a girl as a kid so hearing that years later still made me go "no, boy".

For me Kingsley is sort of the "protector of the herd". He hangs out with the baby ponies and makes sure no harm comes to them.
