Pony Corral / Princess Rinse 'n Spit, the talking version
« on: May 17, 2014, 04:54:38 PM »
I have read these are vintage and the non-talking ones would be mostly modern. And that some make galoppy noises. Mine says "I love you". Are there more different noises they make? Also, in which all colours the speaking versions have been found? Have any been found MOC?

Oh, and I'm also curious if someone knows about a Simba Galoppy Pony, mine doesn't speak anymore and I'm wondering if she was originally making galoppy noises too as the name sounds like :D

Pony Corral / Rapunzel's original hair-do - pics?
« on: May 17, 2014, 04:42:41 PM »
I'm trying to find good detailed pictures of Rapunzel's original hair-do. Does someone have pics or a link to a site which would have pics? I found several good pics of the tail curls with a quick google search. But I'm still unsure if the mane is originally supposed to have 4 or 5 curls and what does the root of the plait look like?

Thank you for help :)

Pony Corral / G1 pony collecting in Twitter..?
« on: August 20, 2013, 02:38:17 PM »
I just created a Twitter account a couple of days ago. None of my friends are there (not as popular as Facebook here) but I'm curious to find out how is it anyway.

So does someone here know if there is anything pony collecting related in Twitter? Or is someone here sharing their pony collecting news in Twitter?

:)

Off Topic / How to ID a (tropical) cricket?
« on: August 06, 2013, 06:35:22 AM »
I have an unusual problem... I'd like to ID a green cricket I have in a plastic container at the moment.  :lookround:

My summer job is making flower bouquets and today at work we found the cricket among some flower boxes.

Are there any webpages for IDing crickets? Or is someone here good at IDing them? The cricket might be from somewhere South America.

Thank you for any help

Pony Brag Arena / Ponyluck today!
« on: June 20, 2013, 09:27:52 AM »
My mother made a great pony find for me today! These were all from a charity shop near my place and cost about 20 euros in all.

I feel so lucky! But also so strange because there's lots of stuff from my wantlist. And my wantlist is VERY difficult. Has someone been stalking me and put all the things I want in the place where I'd surely find them  I may have watched too much soaps

It just is so different to find lots of MLP somewhere else than Ebay  ;)

Need to edit my wantlist now  ^.^

Non-MLP.. Can anyone recognise the pink blanket? It looks like it could be MLP but I think no? Who did the orange see-through comb belong to? And yay, a new fakie garter for my wedding pony collection  ;)

Pony Corral / Removing nail polish/glitter painted over eyes?
« on: May 16, 2013, 01:08:34 PM »

The cutest little face but I think she might have been a party girl with this kind of wild eyeshadow!

Can it be removed at all without damaging the original eye paint too much? I'm not sure if the "eyeshadow" is nail polish or glitter paint.

I thought maybe an oxi bath and scrubbing with a toothbrush? I don't want to ruin her... Any ideas how to remove the "eyeshadow" safely? :)

Pony Corral / Long-haired/curly-haired Firefly and Medley
« on: May 01, 2013, 06:54:15 AM »
How long (cm) mane and tail are these two supposed to have? (I'd like to be sure who I have)

And was this release sold in the US only?

Thank you

Glory is a  :cloud: pony... She wants to fight aging and stay beautiful, but her body has yellowed.

I remember a thread about whitening yellowed ponies, this thread had a pic of a Starshine in some kind of liquid in a glass jar. And the yellowed Starshine had brightened so much in that liquid! It was a very white Starshine...

Does anyone remember this thread and what was that liquid used for pony whitening? Couldn't find with the search! It might have been even at the old Arena..

Thank you for any help :)
