Lately I have two issues that are bumming me out...
The first is that I can't find a BABW workshop Cadence for a reasonable price. She's the only one I missed and she's the only one they haven't re-released. I can't can't afford/justify spending around a hundred dollars for one plush. Shining Armor looks so lonely on his own. I keep hoping they'll put her out again with a Flurry Heart small fry.
The second issue is that I REALLY want to play the Tails Of Equestria RPG, but can't find a local group to play with.
Okay, that's all my venting, lol. Thanks for humoring me!

Aside from the Mane 6, I've only seen Pretz and Cherry around Orlando. It's been kind of disheartening. Target has switched entirely to the reboot. Wal*Marts near here just have the value packs with Cherry and Pretz. It's bumming me out.

I just want to throw in on my jealousy of your complete G1 collection! I'm working on mine too but it's something of an uphill battle.
For storage... I agree that gravity is going to be an issue for long term storage. I used to work in a small collectibles shop and anything over about 20 years old we either had the punch out or j-hook tear or the glue separate the bubble from the card. Laying flat or resting at an angle leaning back with something in front and behind the card are probably your best options. Either is going to be a space hog though.

1. How long have you been collecting ponies? Longer than I'd care to admit, let's just say over 30 years.
2. How did you start collecting ponies? I had ONE pony as a wee one and always wanted more, but they weren't allowed. When I started earning my own money, I started collecting seriously.
3. How long have you been part of the MLP Internet community (not necessarily just the Arena)? Not long, five years or so, but I'm mostly a lurker.
4. Who was your first pony? First childhood pony was Glory.
5. Who was your last pony (i.e., most recently purchased/acquired)? Hula Hula
6. What is your favorite generation? Gen 1, but I collect them all.
7. About how many ponies do you have in your collection? At last count around 700, mostly g1.
8. Who's your grail pony, or alternatively, the pony you want most at the moment? That changes almost daily but right now I'm working on finding all of the g1 So-Soft ponies. I feel like Hasbro made a zillion of them and I'll never be done.
9. Who's your favorite pony and why? (choose only one! hard, I know) SO DIFFICULT! Heartthrob is probably my current favorite. Everything about her color and symbols just appeal to me.

My roommate works for a certain large gaming reseller and picked the book up for me last week.
It's really well written and would be a great first game for younger players. I have four players lined up with characters in mind so I am very much looking forward to playing!

I've bought a few... The Celestia set, the Cadence/SA set, and a few of the singles. I'm still of mixed opinions. I think I've just accepted them since based on everything shown at Toy Fair, this is what we're getting for at least the next year. They sure make me miss G1 and G3 though. I liked when the majority of ponies were actually pretty to look at. One reason I love my G1 so much is that they're just very soothing to me to look at.

I have been using old dvd cases since they are pretty easy to layer into the right heights if you have a bunch. I've been thinking of switching to spice rack shelves but I have SOOOOOOO many poines that I'm kind of scared of the cost of doing that.
