I hate to feel so negative about it but there's just nothing that appeals to me in the slightest. On the plus side I suppose that means I can focus on vintage stuff but the new offerings just... do not spark joy.

I found eight of them at my local Marshall's for the $3.99 each price. All commons, but i only had Minty so I wasn't disappointed and now I have a second set to put in my office so I'm pretty happy!

I'm also a chronic illness sufferer... Diabetic, high blood pressure, anxiety, depression, ptsd...
For me, collecting things I find visually appealing helps me feel a sense of control over my immediate surroundings. I have to hold down a job, which is a struggle in and of itself, so I have an office filled with plush and soft pastel things. It's very soothing and comforting.

I have her and I adore her. I was fortunate enough to find her in great condition at the fair a few years back and I'm really glad I picked her up.
If I have any issue at all it's just that the pose is a bit odd, but she's so lovely, I don't mind it.

Also in the "Not a Brony" camp, but absolutely a collector and I'm absolutely proud of that fact. I've made wonderful friends via MLP, my desk at work and a good portion of our living space is devoted to ponies, Sailor Moon, and Jem.
Being 41 years old, I've long since given up on caring what anyone else thinks. I'm the person in the office with "the fun desk" and "the crazy hair and nails".

I like the sweet and expressive nature of the face sculpts but the body anatomy and the head proportion to the body is just off to me. I also really wish someone at Hasbro could figure out how to give poor Shining Armor a show accurate mane. I'll also echo the sentiment of more character diversity please. Not thrilled with the multipacks where I end up with multiples of the Mane Six over and over and over.

I did. Though i only had one as a kid, it was always my favorite part of the toy store to visit. Being surrounded by all those soft inviting colors made me so happy.
