Favorite Disney Princess?

Shhh, Nala is totally a princess. Just a fuzzy one.

I like a lot of them, personally. I always really liked Jasmine growing up, and Ariel, too. Mulan is really awesome, of course. I think I empathize most with her. I really like the more spiritual size of Pocahontas, though I think her story could have been presented better. I have not seen Brave yet, but Merida looks interesting.

Nala's totally my favorite, though. She's tough and strong and... fuzzy.

What do you guys think?

Jasmine for sure! I had a lot of her dolls as a child and am trying to get those back again. Aurora and Rapunzel are a close second and third. I do like all of the princesses including Nala/Kiara, but those three are my top faves.

I always loved Pocahontas and Jasmine as a child:) Rapunzel would be a close third.

I've never been too big on the Disney Princesses... With the exception of Nala, of course!

But besides Nala, I have to admit my favorite would definitely be Mulan, followed by Merida (pretty sure I'm in the minority placing her so high!). When I was younger, it was probably Jasmine though

It's changed over time for me. When I was little we only had Snow, Aurora, and Cinders.  I think I liked Snow best.

Then Ariel came along and she was my favorite for years with Jasmine a close second when her movie came out.  As a young adult I started to appreciate Snow White more.  Now that we have Rapunzel (my all time favorite fairytale) she is very near the top. It's between Rapunzel and Snow now but Snow White wins out because she has the better songs and is more classic looking. I really fancy the old fashioned feel of her movie, art, and music plus she is so sweet and kind.

Ariel. As a kid she was my favorite, with Pocahontas (if you ignore the historical pot holes) is a second. As an adult again Ariel with Rapunzel a close second. Both where animated by my favorite Disney artist, Glean Keane.

Why? Ariel is adventitious,creative and a bit stubborn. Pocahontas is kind and also adventurous. Rapunzel is creative and a bit shy at first. But she never gave up on her dream.

From what I've seen of Brave, I like Merida. Though I count her as half Disney and half Pixar.

Belle, by far.  Ariel would be second.  Never quit dreaming of adventure and something better, ladies.

I went by the 'official' list of Disney Princesses, and added Nala because I like Nala, but you're kinda right. She's not exactly a 'princess'.

Merida, because I felt like she was acting like a spoiled brat much of the movie and because I loved her mom.  Which is weird because I really adore Elinor and I liked how they both grew in the end.
