Yeah, I agree with this I bought one someone customised on eBay into a Derp, she looks lovely (from the pictures, she hasn't arrived yet) so I am okay with not getting an SDCC one now.

I mean, I'd like the SDCC one just because I feel like I should support her official release, but I'm not about to go overboard with her, either.

I really hope she goes down in price eventually. Not sure how likely that is, but I guess I'll have to see what happens. (Of course, I'm really hoping that Hasbro can realise how many people want to own her, and do a second, non-limited release?)

I thought I remembered one person in this thread (pages and pages back...) saying one year it did go up on HTS on Wednesday? Someone please confirm, I have memory like a goldfish most days. >.< And I've never tried for the con exclusive myself so I don't know how past years went.

From what I understand, it has always been the Monday or Tuesday after SDCC ends, but I don't think a pony has ever sold so well at the convention before either. They could be scrambling to find extra Ditzy's to sell since they did publicly promise there would be some on the site. That's what I'm telling myself anyway.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for 4PM EST.

I would like one, but with the eBay prices, plus shipping to the UK, plus probably customs charges getting it into the country, its getting very expensive to even think about. And it looks like from what other people are saying they're not bringing her to the UK con. So...

Whatever the issue is might also be unrelated to the gray pony of zaniness. They haven't posted any of the other SDCC exclusives either, like the Transformers or GI Joes.

I think the reason she hasn't been put up yet is because Hasbro is just Hasbro-ing it up.
