Nope, not even considering. It sounds harsh, but she's only worth the plastic used to make her, not close to $100. I'd rather find a cheap pony to custom myself than pay that!

That stupid "joke" completely ruined my day. Now that I've been crying and went into a panic attack when I couldn't find her on the site I don't feel good at all. I can't stop shaking and my heart is racing like crazy.

On a different note, has anyone else noticed the ones on ebay are steadily growing by about 5 dollars or so with each passing auction? She's going to breach a 100 soon!

it's normal for the exclusive to peak around $150 then drop back down, even as far back as 2007 it was happening.   The sky high prices are really not anything new.

I heard from a reliable source that the UK pony con is not getting an exclusive this year because Hasbro insisted that they order an absolutely insane number of them (10,000) or else they weren't sending any).  If I am wrong, someone please correct me, but that's my current understanding.

Really? But if they only had 1000 for SDCC isn't that a bit harsh? Or did I miss a bit?

That was my reaction too!  10k, good heavens!  Unless the person mistyped and meant 1k?  This is all secondhand on my end, but the poster was a very reliable old time community member.

I noticed they were going up.  I lost an auction yesterday in the last few seconds and my husband suggested I just do a Buy it Now on the cheapest one I could find.  I paid $60 (not including shipping), which is pretty high but at least the seller actually *has* the item.  I had saved a few auctions in my watch list though, just to see... and now that $60 looks like a bargain compared to what some of these are ending at.  $68, $75, $78?  Wow.

Yeah, my sister bought a BIN one for $60. It seems like that's a good price now...

Yeah I was seeing BIN for around $50 Sunday night. And it's been climbing since then. But like others say, I think it will go down some if we're patient.

I'm not going to go to ebay, though. -.- I can't afford double or triple her price. If I can't get her on HTS, I'm just going to give up... sigh.

Yeah, I agree with this I bought one someone customised on eBay into a Derp, she looks lovely (from the pictures, she hasn't arrived yet) so I am okay with not getting an SDCC one now.
