Want to make a G3 Rarity into G4, please help!

So I'm planning on making a G3 Rarity (she's my favorite G3 pony) into a G4. 
Did someone already make this?
I'll use G4 Rarity body since she's already unicorn, and dye her pink.
But I live in Brasil, and all the hair I have was given by fabulous friends from US ViciousJupiter and Alexia. So I don't have many options for the hair match...thou I'm traying very hard...

So what I have is:
Tail: Amethyst, Lucky Clover and Water Nixie.
Mane: Golden Delicious, Peaches + Cream and Candy Kiss (this one I know is not the correct one, but is the most near I can get).
Also, I go for normal lenght heair, or Super Long Hair? (I just love SLH!)

PS: Today I dyied her body pink, but I got a little darker than the original Rarity, I can't control the dying color very wel!  Should i give up on her?!

Can anyone help me pls?! Tips and advices would be wonderful!

The only tip I have is be careful dying G4s the heads and body dye at different rates because they are made from different materials. I've tried dying a twilight sparkle into deeper bruise-y purple and her head took the dye easy, and her body ended up really splotchy, but still hardly colored at all.

Hopefully someone who's died more then one G4 will have better tips for you.

Also G3 rarity is one of my favorites too! I can't wait to see your custom when it's finished.

I don't know anything about customs but I can't wait to see her when you're finished  SLH Rarity is one of my favorite G3s.

Man, I SO wish that they could have made the heads and bodies from the same material!  The heads are pretty sturdy and heat resistant if you're attempting polymer clay... the bodies? Eh, not so much.  Same thing with just accepting paint in general- sticks to the heads no problemo but just beads right off the bodies unless you do some prep.

Thank you very much you all! Today another problem... I dyed the bait, and she become alittle darker than the original Rarity! Oh my... I'm almost letting this work behind... not sure if I should continue working on her!

I would think SLH would be nice.  I think her pink is Heartthrob.

Considering most dye jobs fade over time, it's probably good she's kinda dark... as she fades, she should become closer to the right color...=]

I would use a pink unicorn like lulu luck or twinkle shine.. If you want an exact match for hair you could find a nice bait G3 rarity or rainbow dash.
