eBay time wasters to avoid
« on: September 25, 2012, 04:08:23 AM »
I've sold quite a few things to elke9300 but every time I've had to chase for payment and open a case in order to actually receive the cash. This last time they didn't pay at all so had to issue a non-paying bidder against them.

mumzie.moo50 also didn't bother paying

Just thought I'd let you know xx

 Non paying bidders on ebay are becoming a bit of a joke now. The problem is you are no longer penalised for not paying so it seems to be becoming a bit of a trend.

Thanks for the heads up Sarah...*adds to blocked list*

Thanks Sarah, I have added them to my list also.

There is nothing more frustrating than trying to track down the money you are owed.

I hope they weren't people who outbid me as I have been biding on a few of your items. That woud be frustrating.

The SS north star was gorgeous by the way! I picked it up fom the PO yesterday.

It's a pain when you have eBay troubles. I'm currently waiting for someone to post a bundle I bid on. I'm starting to get a little nervous as its not showing any signs of being shipped. Xx

I don't get this. Why would you bid on something and not pay for it? I know some people are addicted to shopping, but even that tends to involve paying for stuff they bought, right? Do people without the funds bid on something just in case they get the money within the week or something? Are people addicted to winning the auctions but just not want the item?
This is mostly rhetorical, I kind of assume there isn't really a good answer.
I'll put something here some time

Thanks for letting us know  time to update the blocked bidder list again!   I'm sure everyone is getting really fed up with all the time wasters on ebay at the moment.

Young kids open id's or use their parents id's and bid to cause problems just like when they go in the store and lift the candy.  Ebay doesn't regulate buyers so this will continue to be a problem.  Back in the days when we could leave negatives for buyers that didn't pay things were a lot better.  The whole site is just really crazy now. They think they are doing a great job, seriously...no way.

It really is frustrating!! I have a bunch of stuff ending on Sunday and the sad thing is that every time I have a large lot ending like that I know that there'll be at least one, probably two people who don't pay or don't pay until I open a case against them.
