You've all just reminded me of the music that got me through my last long paper.. https://www.youtube.com/user/PonyVisation/videos ! This guys piano improv is beautiful. I've stuck that on in the background. And I'd love to turn off the internet completely, but I do need it for extra research/quote hunting. Gloomygirl777 - That is a really good idea! Pen and paper removes the 'Well I'm already on the computer I might as well check my emails' side of it. Thank you! And it lovely to see other people who also leave it to the last moment.. haha! I'm trying my hardest not to do so! But essays are really not my strong point, so it's hard to get into them. I saw my tutor today and she's set me some goals so, off I go! I'll try the endless music and pen on paper!

Because I should be writing one RIGHT NOW UURGH!
I'm meant to be handing in the introduction tomorrow morning but I've been so caught up in my other project and other activities that I haven't done it!
And, admission time.. I haven't looked at my dissertation for almost 3 weeks.. eep.
I just hate writing academically sooo much! It bores me so :C
So, ladies and gents and everyone else, how do you concentrate when you've got stuff to get done? I need some advice!
I'm going to go stare at the word document a bit more, and try not to end up on youtube..

Thank you all for your lovely comments! I'll admit I haven't been able to finish Celestia and Rainbow Dash just yet - I'm in my final year of Uni and have a month left until my deadline. Which seems like a lot until I realise I have to finish 12 full spread illustrations, aah!

Agreeing with above here. I've never had any trouble from Hasbro, but I had C&D's on my Fallout stuff, and more recently a minecraft item I was careless with as recognition software picked it up. (I now draw all the characters and don't use official art)
If someone comes along and goes 'Hey, be careful, I just got a C&D on my my little pony print, they might get you next' then maybe pay attention and hide your stuff for a week or so.
Also, does anyone know if they have a 3 strikes and then a shop ban policy? Because I'm on my third C&D now and I'm super paranoid.

Took a short break from Celestia to make a quick test for the necklaces. Because they'll be 'used' a lot more than the figurines, they have to be more durable, so I wanted to take one that I can wear for a week or so to see if anything needs adjusting. I'm going to try and upload a photo for luna, but I'm on my phone so it might go horrifically wrong, if so my facebook has the photo up so check it out there! Quick note to say I've made a mould of the princess pose, but I'm on my phone so you'll have to check it out at the tumblr link on the previous page!
Pony queen - I think I attempted to learn how to make food, but the nuances of coloured fimo was too much for me! I much prefer to sculpt then colour, mostly because I always seem to dirty the colours or blend them where I don't want them!

Pony Queen - You have my Mother to thank for that! She has her own business in miniatures, and encouraged me to sculpt animals that were in scale with her dolls houses! From there the only logical step was to move onto ponies! Hehe! The ones I sculpt are in size for 1/12th scale houses. (You have to pretend they're as big as G1 ponies though, I can't sculpt small enough to replicate a G4 x_x ) Quick edit to add a wip of the princess pony pose! and my first test of how I'll make them into necklaces! Oooh my gosh Saphraira, that is such a good ideaaaaa! That is going to be my next miniature pony project, eee!
Rainfeather, I plan on making them into earrings and maybe necklaces! My only problem is, whilst Zecora would be quite safe as she has no big, sticking out/fragile parts, a pegasus like fluttershy I'd not be able to. I'll have to do some redesigns. But I definitely want to try it!
