Brush with a hole in it?

Hello,

I received a brush in a lot recently and was just curious - it has a hole in it. Not like a play puncture or anything, like a deliberate hole that has always been there?

It's a purple shooting star brush (no rainbow sticker on it). The purple is rather darker than Firefly's brush - more like Sparkle Sky Rocket's colour according to mylittlewiki (although Firefly was in the lot and Sky Rocket wasn't!).

Anyway, what's with the hole? It's in the bottom corner of the brush, and I noticed one on ebay just like it yesterday. Anyone know anything about it, or who it is supposed to belong to? Or is it just a factory anomaly?

The brushes with holes come with the plush or softie ponies. I have a few plush brushes that still have the band attached so you could put it round the plush ponies neck sort of like a necklace Im horrible at explaining things so hope that made sense.

The purple one came with Plush Windy. At least my windy came with a purple one.
