Disney Princess Palace Pets Blind Bags: Series 1

They're cute... but .....WHAT?  Where's the actual pets that these characters HAD, in the actual Disney movies?

You know, Flit and Meeko for Pocohontas, Gus and Jacques for Cinderella..

Freakin' PASCAL for crying out loud!!!

Gus and Jacques would probably resent being called pets and Pascal is probably relieved that Punzie has someone else to dress up. Anyways each pet has a cute little story of how they came into the lives of each princess. It never says that the old pets are gone or anything. For example I think it would be cute to picture Meeko and Wildflower being best friends.

This is the same issue I have - I really think they're cute, though I actually prefer the 'old' pets that the princesses have!

I'm sure it's just me (I was never into the overly cutesy-princessy things as a child and I'm certainly not fond of them as an adult), but Rajah really can't be replaced in terms of adorableness. I'm not saying Sultan isn't cute, nor am I saying I dislike him - He's just not as cute (IMHO) as Rajah.

However, I do like Treasure (Ariel's Pet). I absolutely love her orange color!

These pets where never in the original movies, and I don't think that even any newer movies they are, they are just something added to make more money in the toy line... granted some of them are cuter versions of some of their movie counter parts...

Anyway, I bought two more baggies today

ZS25 = Petit
ZS28 = Meadow

I will also note that the mice from Cinderella were not pets, Flit and Meeko I don't think were considered as pets..

I haven't seen Sultan. I like him! I'll have to get a toy of him.

I believe that Disney created the Palace Pets line to compete with Littlest Pet Shop.

Thank you for posting some of the numbers. My wee one saw them and wanted them even more than a new Elsa doll. She wants Belle's horse and now I must find it.
