Know a fact? Share it here!

Poison dart frogs are not poisonous in captivity. The toxin comes from the insects they eat in their natural habitat. Since these insects are not fed to them, they are safe to handle and popular as pets.

I sleep with a body pillow (it's orange) and have a few plushies in my bed. My bed is against the wall so they don't fall off.

I never use top sheets. I have a select few blankets I use at different times of the year. I always have to have the blanket over my head. My sister used to ask how could I breathe like that, but it doesn't bother me. I also need to have the fan on me, even when it's cold.

Most of my life I slept with the TV off, but since I've lived on my own, I keep it on.

I have VERY SPECIFIC PILLOWS. I cannot sleep without these pillows. The bottom one is an old standard Tempur-Pedic. The top is a very thin, flat pillow my mom got me out of one of those old people magazines. The tag is worn, so I don't know the brand. I tuck this thin pillow between my neck and shoulder and the TP pillow supports my head. I have tried others through the years, but anything else gives me headaches and neck and shoulder discomfort. I've slept with these two pillows for probably 25 years. I would replace the thin one if I knew who makes it, but alas.

I'm glad things are going okay so far, Beth :)

I spent most of the day in bed. I'm so tired all the time. I did get some sleep.

Baking a cherry pie. I didn't make it, it's a frozen one. I'll make an iced coffee when it's done then probably be up all night.

Reading my last post in this thread, I haven't quit pasta or Pepsi. I have been eating better in general.

I'm so itchy!

I have a wicked craving for veggies and Ranch, but Walmart is done delivering for the night.

I just ran into the same thing in a video I was watching, non pony related, but the same as in, the video maker thought it was some genius new thing on the internet when I remember the same thing existing back in the 90s.

I think too, that newer generations don't understand how it used to be before the internet was so easy to access and everything you could ever want to find was on it. Nerdy stuff has always been around (and mainly seen as a bad thing). They were having conventions with cosplay in the 60s. And it certainly wasn't something that was widely accepted like it is today. Like, take gaming culture. I don't like the term 'gamer' because it denotes a certain type of person, but I've been gaming my entire life. Back then it was seen as a nerdy thing (nerd stuff was bad) and something you did by yourself in a dark room because you were a loser with no friends  I mean, I'm glad it has become so mainstream and people are are enjoying it together, but growing up it was definitely seen as something an outcast kid did, not the norm.

I haven't been sleeping due to being out of one of my medications, but last night it finally caught up with me. I slept all day. I had a very strange dream that seemed absolutely real. I am usually a lucid dreamer, but this one I was trapped in. It's been on my mind since I woke up.

Yes, Shai, I've noticed that too about G4 customizers. I wouldn't link anything that uses questionable materials, or down right wrong materials, don't worry :)

I will check out out RetroGeek.

Yes, that would be lovely! :)

Couldn't sleep at all last night. Officially out of bed at 5:30am. Managed to burn my hand making coffee. Some laundry done, clothes in the dryer. Blankets next. It's become too hot for my fuzzy blanket so I got my cotton knit one out (it has holes in the knit so it's cool) but it has that stale smell. It also reminded me I need to vacuum seal some items in the linen closet. It's overflowing with stuff I never use. Why do I have so many towels???

So with fresh blankets I should change the sheets. Not looking forward to that.

My silly shrimp. I was using the net to pick up some uneaten food and the shrimp are so curious they swam right in. Took a few minutes of maneuvering to not scoop any up.

How scary! I'm glad they are okay. I hope the repairs won't take too long.

The burn hurts but I still have my skin. Luckily, I let the kettle sit for a few minutes. I'm not sure what happened. I think I absentmindedly grabbed the Aeropress as I poured the water but it came over the side and hit my hand between my index finger and thumb. The worst part is that there's no such thing as cold tap water right now, it's lukewarm at best. I used ice.

Again, when things are going well, something happens. This morning it was pouring boiling water over my hand.
