glad to hear you are feeling better!  I was a sleepy mess for a day or so afterwards.

Glad all went well. I was dumb enough to wait until my late 30's to get mine out. My lowers were still impacted, and I had no choice but to go under for the surgery. Not that I in a million years would have wanted to be awake for that! :scared: Well turns out, if you wait as long as I did, your roots can grow down into this nerve in your lower jaw, and that was the case with mine. One was wrapped around this nerve, and my surgeon had a lot of trouble digging it out. Had some nerve damage afterward and couldn't feel the inside of my right cheek for months. I think it's mostly back to normal now, or else I've just gotten used to it.

And of course I got the dreaded dry socket. If you get it, ask for a clove pack. I know...it sounds terrible, but it worked wonders on the spot.

I don't think I got the dry socket. My pain is sort of not as bad. Wishing it would be gone for good.

I know the feeling. I've had those teeth and 4 other teeth taken out at separate times. Not a fun time, especially the first time when I was a kid.

I had a horrible time just laughing gas and Novocain turns out I am DEATHLY ALLERGIC to laughing gas. I gout out of the chair, knocked the tools on the floor and then attacked my dental surgeon, with the scalpel. I fencing lunged the poor guy.  Hallucinated attacking people while stopped at a store on the ride home. Almost punched baby sisters best friend, later almost stabbed them with a fork.  dinner was very very quiet, and they still took me to the ice cream parlor. I did have minimal swelling but was angry for a week, and no I did not keep mine I just wanted to go home. Oh and I was vomiting blood as well.

best way to describe how it felt was the you tube short cobra goes to the dentist.

oh dear. i had no idea laughing gas could have those effects.

my experience having my wisdom teeth out wasn't great. i only had 3 and 1 was impacted. it took forever for them to take it out. my face was swollen and i was in pain for a couple of weeks. and after that i couldn't open my mouth or eat properly for a few months.
