Fatherland - I always loved this grim vision of an alternate history ever since I first saw the movie as a teenager, plus Rutger Hauer and Miranda Richardson are really great in it and it also has awesome music, I give it 8/10

Romeo's Distress 5/10 It was a strange black n white indie film. And squicky at parts. Some of the footage was wonderfully shot. Didn't hate it, wasn't crazy about it.

The Village - I know that the critics hated this movie but I always loved it and maybe there is something wrong with me but I actually didn't expect the twist ending the first time I saw it, I also love the great performances by Adrien Brody and Joaquin Phoenix, 9/10 from me.

Big Momma's House - it may not be Citizen Kane but I really loved Martin Lawrence's antics in drag, 7/10

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) - 9/10 made me laugh quite a few times, and i was happy to have finally watched a classic from back in the day. i've seen a lot about it. the story was a bit hard to follow at times & the animated portions were sometimes hard to follow against the real life backdrops, but i know it was sort of a new concept having real life & animation combine in that way so i think they did amazing in that case. surprised disney let this one pass but again, it was the 80s :snicker:

^ Oh, I love it, I love it!  :frolic: It's been a long time since I last saw it. Would it be on some streaming server… :wonder:

Today I watched Scrooged (1988). I saw it last when I was little, I only remembered the scariest parts of it (the main character's own funeral and Ghost of Christmas Future) As an adult, I understood that plot better and it was pretty funny.  :) 8/10

Les Visiteurs - easily one of my favorite French comedies, Jean Reno and Christian Clavier are awesome in it :haha: (as well as Marie-Anne Chazel, Valérie Lemercier and Théophile Sowié) and I also love the music by Éric Lévi, I give it 9/10

Old - I'm an unashamed Shyamalan fan and have been since the Sixth Sense. I've been looking forward to this one (I bought it... I have all his other movies too) and it was both what I expected but not. It's actually kind of different from most of his films. It's... softer? There are some very creepy moments in it though. It's take-away message is nice. I think maybe he's getting sentimental in his old age :P

Anyway, I give it an 8/10.

The Condemned - pretty cool movie, although a little dark and with lots of violence, and the Nickelback song in the credits is a nice touch, overall I give it 7/10
