Deleted a Sent Msg?

I just sent a member a msg awhile ago, then decided to clean out my sent box, and accidentally deleted the msg I just sent.  Will the member receive th msg even though I deleted it?  Or do I need to send another msg?

I think the messages in your sent box are just a copy of what you sent.  If that is what you are talking about.  So, it is my thought, but I could be wrong, that no you would not need to resend. You just now no longer have your own copy of what you sent. Deleting doesn't keep it from going to the member here.  Once you click send, its sent.

Okay thanks!  Its just that with the old arena, if you deleted the sent msg, it also deleted the msg to the receiver.  But I think its different with the new msg system.

The message should still appear on how you sent it, even though it was deleted.  The only thing is, we as Mods or Admins do not have anyway to retrive it for you should be needed.

Perhaps if you need a copy I would have your reciprocant copy you on it and send it back in a reply.

No worries!  The member got my msg!  So deleting the sent msg does not affect its arrival to the recipient.
