I am so sorry!  That is just awful..  :huh:   I wish I had a solution for you.  Abbey is one of my favorites and I really want her, so I totally get how much you love her and hunted for her!   :hug: I hope someone here can help.

I guess I'm getting all these waves confused.

I just want a signature Abbey and Spectra the most right now.  It seems like they barely graced the surface here.. never saw an Abbey, ever, or a first edition Spectra.  So does that mean their lines are already "phased out" and done?

Most of what you found is what's out at the moment. I've seen DT and SS around, and of course Operetta and the other 1600 stuff; but the majority of the other lines aren't available. I can't speak for Spectra (unless you luck into one from an older case somewhere), but signature Abbey is scheduled to be in the next case, the one that will have Rochelle in it. And since Rochelle is the new one, you'll probably have a better shot at Abbey.

Oh okay.  I guess when I saw version 2 Spectras in TRU before Xmas I thought some of these other waves had established themselves as here.  Oh well, more waiting..

Well hopefully at the very least they get more in stock of what's currently out so I can have more to choose from.  ><

Went to 5 stores today (Wal-Mart x2, Target x2, TRU) and everything is BARREN.  Just CAM sets, 2 Neferas, 2 Toreilis, 2 2.0 Cleo, and 1600 Cleos.  This is from all five stores combined.......

Needless to say, doesn't looking like I'll be getting an Abbey or Spectra anytime soon.  :(

I honestly think it could be because people that had G1 ponies during their childhood are getting into adulthood now.  Their old ponies could be forgotten in their parents' attics for years, or even thrown away because of their age and condition (likely dirty).

Obviously a lot of ponies are still donated and sold, but I think as time goes on things like these get scattered and kind of phase out.  You just don't find many old toys in thrift shops anymore, even generic.

Just my thinking.  :huh:

What ever happened to Fun at the Fair with Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle G4 pack?

It came out last year but I never heard from anyone in the US that it got released in stores.  I think all the ones I've been seeing were ordered online...
