Title: French purple haired starshine
Post by: aniko79 on January 20, 2014, 01:50:32 AM: Hi all! One of my biggest wants is french purple haired starshine. Does anybody know how many have been found? I only saw once one for sale on ebay, the highest bid was around 1600 Usd, but didn't even meet the reserve price. Is she really that hard to find?

I am not sure if/how much the one I last saw sold for. As far as I could see she never met her reserve.

She knew of some owned by French collectors who weren't members of the English speaking community. So I think the estimate was around 10. I remember she also mentioned that Frnch Starshine's white streak was actually fading pink.

I think around 10 is quite accurate since I know more than one french collector who have her plus 2 were found in yard sales in summer 2012 in the French community. One of them was sold on ebay for around 450€.
