There, I said it.
I just didn't know where to write it.
I love the MLP Arena.
I love that we have so many kind members in here, I love that we have discussions on various topics, I love how caring people can be and how helpful we are towards each other. I love how admins are supportive and helpful when needed.
And I love the layout of this forum.
May it NEVER change.
Easy to overview, been the same for ages. Love it. :lovey:

I love this place too, especially its layout. I'm sick of all these newfangled social medias and their ugly "mobile friendly" layouts that take forever to load. Give me the Arena any day :)

This is only one of two forums I still visit regularly. Places like this are kinda dying thanks to social media platforms, which is a shame. The Arena is definitely one of my favorite corners of the interweb.

This has been the first forum I’ve ever joined. And it’s probably going to be one I will still visit frequently even when I’m old and crusty, and telling death “one minute! I gotta check the arena!”

I love this forum too. The Arena is the only forum I'm still a part of and that I'm aware of even being active. My old Lion King fandom hangouts have been next to dead for years now

Please never "improve" it, it's perfect just the way it is! It's so nice and easy to navigate, all those modern, flashy websites are such a pain. And I'm so glad there's no "like"-system on here, I can only speak for myself, but "likes" have a negative impact on me. The Arena is a wonderful, serene island where time stands still, in an internet-sea of fleeting moments in which I feel like I'm drowning all the time.

Agreed! It's a safe space in which you can write an actual post and have people actually read the whole thing without being told three lines are a wall of text or being spat at in chatspeak.
There's no need to be liked or unliked, and no pressure to respond to something at x time or y time.
One of the people I know in another community keeps going on about the need for 'content'. Sometimes I don't want to give the internet 'content'. Sometimes I would like people to see more than just "cute picture LOL".
The internet was a gateway for me when I was a teenager and young adult in a way I don't think it can be for young people any more. It was a place that gave people who struggled to explain things face to face in words a way to put them down coherently instead, and time to edit, think and rephrase before posting.
Now it's been reclaimed by mainstream and is full of rules and conventions and tropes and cliques and factions again, just like the rest of the real world is and always has been.
May the Arena never fall to those vices, since it's one of the few places where I am not afraid to post honestly.

So true, this is probably one of the friendliest and most positive communities on the Internet these days, plus its web forum form reminds me of the way simpler times of the 2000s.

I do adore this format! And the people are nice too. I love reading all the comments on here and people’s thoughts on pony subjects. It makes me happy.

This forum is the first online community I became a member of and I’m SO grateful I started things out here! Everyone is so positive, kind and patient with people who are still learning their way around the internet! :) I was genuinely shocked at the rudeness I saw in other online communities as I began to venture out at first. Although im more used to it now I’m so grateful there is still a place where I can come and feel safe in sharing my opinions and love of ponies!
Also big yes to the this forum having the best layout of pretty much any website out there! I get so sick of “feeds” where I only get to see the most popular content! I swear even when I set my preference to most recent I still get some weird order and don’t get to see everything that’s being posted. Also the replies and threads are so easy to read and scroll through here. It’s very much appreciated!
