I just finished "Orange is the New Black."  It was about a woman who spent a year in a women's prison for drugs.  I heard Netflix is doing an adaptation of it.

The Last Victim by Jason Moss
"A True-Life Journey into the Mind of the Serial Killer"

It's about a young man who begins writing famous serial killers. It's an old book and I'm mostly reading it because I stumbled upon an article that said the author killed himself in 2006. I was surprised and I remember my grandma reading this book when I was a kid. So why not read it myself?

I am also re-reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone with my fiance. Everyone should know who Harry Potter is and what thats about.  Right?

Wired (Skinned Trilogy, book 3) by Robin Wasserman

Only have a couple chapters left on this one. It's been about a young woman who has her body destroyed in a car crash and then her mind is downloaded into a new body. Basic beginning but has lots of build upon it that leans toward conspiracy and the dangers of a technology driven society. It's sent in the future (obviously.) Sadly it's been my least favorite of the trilogy.

I'm currently reading "Deadly Descendant" by Jenna Black, it's about a descendant of Artemis who is living with other Descendants and tracking a killer who may or may not be a descendant of a Death God.

The Infernal Devices By Cassandra Clare.

Excellent choice ;) I can't wait for the last book omggggg

I'm reading Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick.  It's kind of like Twilight but with fallen angels instead. It's a pretty mediocre series with annoyingly flawed characters, but its enjoyable enough. I read the first two and didn't really feel motivated to finish the series, but my mom picked this one up for me secondhand so I thought "why not?"

It's been so long since I read the first two, though, that I don't remember many of the characters or quite a few of the details and events in the previous books. And in a terrible twist of irony....our heroine has amnesia from the beginning of the book, so she doesn't remember either! :drunk:

A Clash of Kinga a.k.a Robb Stark Makes Poor Life Choices.

 XD

I like that!

Actually I think the last book I read was A Feast for Crows, several months back now... My apologies to the hard core fans, but I got so incredibly bored I haven't bothered picking up his latest one  :(

Most recently however, and it will probably be read again tonight (does this count?) was Green Eggs and Ham by Dr Suess... the kids love it  :P  What's it about? You should try things. You never know... you might just like them  ;)

I am reading tramp abroad by mark twain ,  it is a wonderful read and this is a 18 something edition. IT was also once part of a memorial library    in my high school in the 1880's.

What am I not reading. :P
Almost done with "Chickadee" by Louise Erdrich. The fourth book in her Birchbark House series.
Not to give anything away, it follows the story of twin Anishinaabe boys in the mid 1800s. As their family is forced West and onto the Northern Plains.

I am rereading The Deverry Cycle by Katherine Kerr. It's hard to explain what it's about without writing an essay since it contains reincarnation and is divided in to four different leadstories with four books in each.

I have just finnished the first leadstory; a young prince has decided to leave his place in society to study dweomer (magic) and when his father finds out banishes him. He has the chance to have both the love of his life and the magic because she too has the skill for it, but fails, leading his love to kill herself. On her grave he swear to never rest until he can undo what he has done and the High Lords of the Light hears him..

400 years later he's an old man, the most powerful magician in the kingdom and now comes the headstory. His love have been reborn yet again and now comes the task to carefully lead her to study the magic so he can finally die.

During the series the author adds chapters of past lives. The same characters reoccur with different relations to each other (brother and sister in one life is father and daughter in another) but the magician known as Nevyn is always there, always with his hope that THIS is the time he will right what he did wrong.

I'm about to start book five in the series (or first in the second leadstory) which begins 40 years after the last book.
