Can't figure out this g1 unicorn

I think she's just yellowed.  With a true yellow Moonie, you're never asking if she's actually yellow or not, she's YELLOW, lol! 

But she(?) didn't ask if it's yellow:

It apparently obviously is and she just didn't know which pony it is.

Maybe it was a yellow Moondancer and faded more to be less yellow? Also does it not have hair plugs or tail hole??

I think she's been dyed.  A pony's eyes don't hold dye as much as their bodies BUT I do see a faint yellowish tinge on the whites of her eyes.  She's not "real" yellow Moondancer IMO.  I had yellow Moondancer at one point and she's not quite the same shade.

this happens over time with how it was stored, or how much sun, humidity etc. exposure she was in.

I've had starshines that had this same color, and glory's as well in the past. this is just a common thing that happens overtime.
The post of the yellow moondancer for sale, is infact a legit one.. but this one is just a baity moondancer, standard version

She does have plugs, its not one of those bald squeaky things. Like I said I got in in a bait lot where many of them were prepped and normally when I get a bait of a pony I don't I have I try to restore them to their original selves. So when i got this gal I thought "weird who is the yellow unicorn and what hair colors do I need to put back on her?"

You are not causing problems People always have different opinions. Perhaps someone can share a picture of their yellow Moondancer beside a Posey for you. I would be interested to see as well.

:3 well good news is regardless of who this gal is SeashellnBubbles has agreed to give her a good home. I can't wait to see her cleaned up.


Last picture of her before I send her off (the first pictures were in my bedroom at night so the flash did weird things) I took them outside and got a better picture. She''s closer to the color of butterscotch so I think that shows how yellow she is as oppose to being next to Posey.

So once again regardless of weather she's dyed, a super dark/loved/sun burnt ect Moondancer, or actually a yellow Moondancer she will get to live at a home where someone loves her

Wow she is perfectly Butterscotch yellow! I'd put money on she's yellow Moondancer. I can't wait to see her fixed up!

Seeing her next to butterscotch definitely makes me say she's a yellow moondancer! The ones next to posey were a little questionable, but now I don't think there's any doubt!

Yellow Moondancer isn't Butterscotch's color, though . . . She's not as "orangey".  Here's the one I used to have.  She was a bit darker than Posey.  (And Baby Lucky Leaf, the baby in the pic.)

I'm really quite sure this one is dyed, that's why she has the darker flecks of orange on her.

Regardless she's quite beautiful and will make a great custom!

Oh, don't worry...she'll be marked on the foot as being a custom/rehair/resymbol. I think I may write a little blurb about her to put inside her so if she ever does end up being sold and someone looks inside her they'll see a special note about her history Message in a pony
