Can you spot the pony?

The other day we went to my uncle & aunt's house (about 45 mins away) for a family get together.
 
 My cousins were all there, along with their spouses and kids. My oldest cousin, Nick, and his wife, Erin, had just had their second daughter. I had fun playing with their newborn daughter, and their older daughter, Cara (2 yrs old).
 
 Well, while we were eating dinner, I noticed that Cara was sitting in her high chair. Then I noticed the plate that she was eating off of:

 I wanted this plate so badly!! My aunt has had this plate since my cousin, Amber, was a little girl (she's 31).  It's just perfect for a little girl! I wish I had had one when I was little!

I wish they would trade me, but that isn't going to happen. My aunt is very nostalgic and has kept all the things from my cousins' childhoods.

 She loves that she can now use their childhood items on their children

I would understand the temptation to negotiate a swap lol! But its also nice that she is reusing her daughters items with her granddaughter

I totally have that plate!  I got it as a kid.  It came with a matching bowl and cup.  Unfortunately, my childhood cup handle broke off, so it got thrown away. 

Some years ago, when I really got back into pony collecting, I decided to find a replacement cup.  None were showing up on eBay or the classifieds here.  One day, I went garage saling with my dad and we (unknown to us) followed an out of date sign.  But, we found a nearby garage sale and they had my cup!  It was only .25, so I happily snagged it and have a complete set again.

If they weren't up in the attic, I'd go take pictures.  The cup has Glory and Parasol on it and the bowl has Applejack, Bubles, COtton Candy, and Moondancer.  There are others, but I can't remember them at the moment.  Intothesea has a better picture of the plate:

Oh how cool,wish they would trade you but don't frett for it will show up on ebay or maybe even better here...I know because I just got myself that plate about a month ago thanks to ebay...I hope you can find one,it is cute...I plan on hanging mine up on the wall somehow

I would love to see the plate,bowl,and cup together...never knew they had more to the set...wonders if they made the silverware for it...

Nope!  No silverware=)  I very clearly remember my mom buying this set back in the 80's.  My sister got a Sesame St set and I got the pony one. It came in a little white box and was just the plate, bowl, and cup.
