Thanks everyone! Pretty sure that Romperooni is the right one.  The hair colours in particular look right. The eyes look like a match, too.

I have a G3 baby that's been overdyed black by someone, somewhere along the way. Custom project that was abandoned, I guess.

I'm curious as to which baby it was originally.

Hoof stamp says 2002, Hasbro, Made in China. Front right hoof has a magnet.

Hair is three colours - something that turned beige-peachy, pink, and a blue that turned grey-blue with the dye.

Pics to follow, but wondering if anyone has any guesses?

Wanted! / FOUND adult North Star

UPDATE: Found both, in Canada even! Post can be archived.

Several years ago, I sold my Gusty and North Star. I was downsizing at the time and wanted them to go to a good home... but now I have space and regret having sold them.  >_<

So I'm looking for reasonably priced replacements. They don't have to be mint. I don't mind doing a little restoration work on them. Mainly I just want them back in my herd. 

Same goes for my seahorses, although I know finding affordable ones is a real long shot. Ideally, I'd like to get Whitecap and baby Splasher (Y3), but wouldn't turn down others. Also willing to take bait-ish ones.

I have a few G1s left I'm willing to part with, and a bunch of G3s, if you're looking to trade. Open to DMs. Thanks for looking!

Update: Found a Gusty, yay! Now just looking for North Star.

Introductions / Greetings from Prince Edward Island

Hello all!

Glad to have found you. I have been collecting G1s since I was a kid. (I'm 43 now, so it's been while. :lol:) Some I have sold along the way as I tried to trim down the herd when I didn't have display space.
Now I have a 3 bedroom farmhouse and my own office space, so I am collecting again.  :biggrin:

I also collect some G2s. Mostly I "rescue" ponies from thrift stores and yard sales, clean them up, and sell them on. Some become permanent herd members, and some that are badly damaged I dabble in customizing/restoring. Nothing fancy, mostly just cleaning and rehairing.

I'm here to meet other collectors, maybe trade some ponies and accessories.

Oh, and I am a guy (but I don't call myself a brony), and I live on the island with my wife, dog, and 2 cats.
