Megan's 13? Hahaha, I always thought she was supposed to be maybe 15, despite how she dressed! And funny, they mentioned Peachy as one of the Earth Ponies; does she ever actually show up, even in the background? I don't think so, but she really is everywhere haha.

Also, wow, I've been spelling Tirac "Tirek" all this time....oops! I have a friend who may want to know for his fanfic....

Oh, btw, I was thinking, maybe if you want to make scan available for people to read, you can find a website that would like to host the scans in something like an exclusive content section? I lot of Classic Sonic the Hedgehog sites do that with production materials, like writers guides, that people have...maybe a G1 MLP site would do that if you wanted to?

I also wonder if the inclusion of Majesty meant they were originally going to keep Dream Castle since it was her home and she is the queen.  Why couldn't they have included her?

should be quoted to the people who act like Lauren Faust was the first person who ever thought about giving depth to little girls' shows and not dumbing them down so much!  It might not have been conveyed very well in the series, but whoever wrote the writer's guide was obviously thinking along the same lines 27 years ago.

Are Truly and Lofty mentioned at all?  Maybe they even have character sheets?   Those two were my very favourite ponies as a child but it looks as though they aren't even mentioned in any of the character lists.  Perhaps they nearly didn't get into the show at all! o_0

I noticed this too!  I wonder if they "switched" Lickety and Shady's personalities before the show began?

Lancer, I thought the same thing--this was an amazingly respectful approach to any cartoon at the time.

I think a lot of "MLP & Friends" scripts would have held up quite well if they'd had the same quality of animation and sound effects as "Rescue at Midnight Castle."  Unfortunately animation is really what catches the eye in . . . well, animated features . . . and "MLP & Friends" was just so buggy compared to RaMC or Escape from Catrina.  I wish I could snap my fingers and give them animation that was worthy of them.

Lickety-Split was also a complainer, but not as bad as Shady.

It's too bad Hasbro didn't give the show the respect (and budget) it deserved.  My Little Pony could have easily stood up there with Transformers and G.I. Joe and even did despite the shoestring budget.  Yes it had some corny plots, but so did those two shows.  Though I would like to see what the other movie example is that gets cut off.

I personally want to see Fizzy and Wind Whistler's character sheets.

Interesting you should mention that, LM.  I was thinking wouldn't it be great if fans who knew flash could reanimate the original series using the original voice, sound, and music tracks?
