Argie Confetti - PC and OK to re-hair?

Hi,

Would it be a crime to re-hair an Argie Confetti if she had had quite a drastic hair cut? She is CP, white with blue symbols and hair.

How much would she be worth before said re-hair? She is pretty grubby with a couple of ink marks. Her mane is cut short and tail halfway.


EDIT: I don't own her, but was thinking about buying her to pretty her up. I think the seller may be asking for too much though.

i know the one youre talking about and yes I think she is overpriced, which is why no one has bought her ..
she is VERY htf, especially in good condition. I have rehaired several argies in similar condition. and i certainly do not regret it
i definately reccommend using REAL G1 hair though, dolly mix just stands out like a sore thumb

Thank you! It was your fault I was looking for Argies! I think your collection is wonderful.

I didn't buy her in the end, but at least I know that re-hairing baity Argies is not too frowned upon! ^^ Although, I may just save up and wait for one in better condition. I really love your white-haired Argie Tickle *adds to grail list*.

if one does not have some spare 'real' pony hair, were should one get it from? Is there a market for it?

i guess you could post a 'wanted' ad asking for donor tails? 
or just keep an eye out for baity ponies?? 

not been in that situation so not given it any thought

i usually have a stock of sapre tails taken from bait ponies if i don't have a colour i need i ask in the customs forum

moonflower ~ if you want to rehair her then that is fine i would have thought her value is around the $60-$100 mark, she will go for more if she is in mint condition.

Thanks pkw! I wish I had bought her now; there was not much time left on the auction when I first posted and I was unsure about it. Someone else has bought her though so hopefully she will get a new lease of life!
