How much to charge for custom sculptures?

I was wondering if you lovely customisers could please give me your opinions on how much is a sensible price to ask for commissions of sculptures/ pendants such as these?

Your opinions would be super because I've no idea what people pay for this sort of thing.

I'm gonna guess.....$15 to $20 if you want them to sell fairly quickly, $20-$25 if you don't mind waiting a bit.

Depends a little bit on what clay you are using since some are munch more expensive and you want to offset the costs.

Will you sculpt anything or are you strictly working with ponies?

I think the Takara will need to be a little more than the pendants because she takes quite a while to make (though I hope I'll get faster with practise!).

I used Fimo and Sculpey oven bake clays, artist acrylics and (many layers of) artist gloss varnish. But because they're so tiny, the total material costs for each isn't too much I think.

I hadn't thought of doing non pony stuff but I'd be happy to have a go at anything.

The best bet is to do a few of the more popular ones and put them out there for what you think the least you will take plus $5.  Then if they do not sell you can drop your price.  If they are gone before you can blink you probably charged a little too little.  I agree with Colorscapesart prices though.

Thanks. I think that's what I'll do Diamond, then if they are popular and I have more time I could do some commissions.

That Takara baby is precious ♥ From a buyers point of view I think $20 would be a reasonable price Consider your time and supply costs and make sure it's worth it. I personally would love, love, love some G4 and G1 characters in Takara baby form. That would be so awesome!
