My guinea pig has an extra toe. O.o()

I hadn't noticed before today, but my little guinea pig (about three weeks old) has a parasitic twin!  Well, sort of... she has an extra toe on her foot. It's all loose and dangly and sits back on her foot like a dew claw, but it's full sized. There are no bones attaching it to her foot, just a little bit of skin, so it's really gross - it twists around, wobbles, bends the wrong way. It's going to be removed, just a little freezing and a quick snip, at least with no bones it is easy to take off, more like a skin tag than an actual digit.

Just thought I'd share. It was so weird, when I first saw it I thought she was supposed to have four and one was badly broken.

LOL My pups have extra floppy toes. I think they are neat. I just have to be careful their bedding isn't the sort they can get caught in.

I bred many guinea pigs at a big family owned old school pet store for many years. You'd be surprised just how many GP's came out with extra toes. I even had one who had SEVEN tiny little weird looking toes on one foot. They were all fine - none seemed to know they had the extra appendages! And in case anyone asks, no, none of the breeders were related so it wasn't inbreeding.

We should do a transplant and give the extra toes to my dog -- his back right foot doesn't have any toes!

Man all my animals are normal. Miku has a black spot on her paw when she got her ear inked, but that's it LOL! I like weird things on animals like extra or no digits, spot patterns that are shaped, and stuff of the sort! The coolest thing I have ever seen is a dolphin with vestigial fins! Animals are so cool

OMG I had a cat with this!!!! My cat Mew from my childhood. He was the biggest sweetheart ever and didn't need such terrifying daggers! xD When he was a baby and got his big boy teeth in at one point he had TWO canine fangs! It was just the adult teeth pushing the baby one out though. It was AWESOME.
