Hair advise? way too messy!!!

So my hair has alwase been long. When I was 14 it was past my kneese and I cut it to past my bottom. It's that long today still I am 22. Well I started working back in september and it's like since my hair has to much oil in it and worse now. I know what shampoo and condishener I need I talkes to a lady at a salon. I can't afford it now. So in the mean time WHAT DO I DO? Its frizzy greassy puffy when wet! Driveing me mad! I heard of people going soap less and thair hair was perfect never crazy or dirty..anywho help me?

i had that issue with my long hair when i started working. my solution? chopped it all off and never went back to long hair, found i can't stand it XDDD
