lego Movie! Epically Awesome!!!! saw it today!

I am not a Legos fan either, however I saw the other day and LOVED it!! I thought it was so creative and I really enjoyed the characters took all of my power to not cry at the end. Lol xD

I caught it on a whim the other day, because I'd been enjoying the ads and just figured, why not? Really glad I did, as it was a very enjoyable movie. It had everyone in the auditorium laughing, and of course I now have "Everything is Awesome" stuck in my head forever. Also, even though I'm not a lego fan, I adored seeing the whole world made of legos like that. Cool!

When I heard there was going to be a Lego movie I was kind of unimpressed but the previews look pretty funny.

And if you all haven't seen it yet: FROZEN. Went without kids and immediately got the soundtrack.  Amazing equality between make and female characters, everyone is flawed, everyone had strengths... nobody is perfect!  Also has a very direct approach to how romance is typically portrayed (unrealistically easy?) in Disney films.  Nicely done Disney.

Oh, gosh, YES! This is now one of my favorite movies, especially Elsa. My first time through (yes, I've seen it more than once), I thought

Elsa was going to become the villain, and I was so glad she didn't!

It's great to see a character like that get the chance to really embrace their powers; kind of an "it's OK to be awesome" message, lol!

Everyone I talk to, I can't stop bugging them about this movie. Love it!

We're going to go see it tomorrow err later today as it's now 1:30 in the morning. We were going to go last night but we ended up getting eight inches of snow.

I'm really looking forward to seeing it, I wasn't super keen on legos as a kid but I started collecting all the Batman lego kits when I was in college and I loved the lego Batman video game. The previews all look hilarious and Will Arnett voicing Batman is perfection.

My daughter went to a lego event celebrating the release of the movie last week, she got a free small kit of Emmet's car and a poster. I bought her blind bag mini-fig so she would have someone to put in it and we got Emmet.
