Questions about YouTube

Is there a way to download video from YouTube? Specifically, I'd like to be able to download episodes of FIM from YouTube, and then watch them later. (I need to download at the library, and then I'd like to watch them at home on a bigger screen).

No program install necessary.
Just have Java on your computer (which you probably already do)
And right click download an MP4 which plays with better ease than FLV.

We use it at work to download public videos (tv news studio)

Really?  I think that's just a browser plugin.

YouTube HATES downloaders because it prevents them from displaying ads, gathering viewing statistics, etc... They lose control of the video if it's downloaded.

Although that is one of the better plugins (depending on version)
