I am not familiar with the Girl Scout range, but if there is a caramel/chocolate one then that would be my favourite :D

Oh we do and they are called Samoas and are delicious.

Samoas!!!  I always buy at least one box from every single girl scout who asks.  I like to freeze them and then I slowly eat them all year.  I just finished my last one yesterday!  I love Thin Mints too, also frozen (am I weird?  I prefer them like that, Snickers bars too) with ice cream!

BTW, when Thoth's cookie sales start, count me in for a box of Samoas!

Tagalongs!  *drool* My good friend works for GS and she has me many, many boxes coming.  I put them in my freezer to enjoy all year.

Those lemon ones you sent me were delicious. :D Girl Guide cookies do not come in as many varieties that I've ever seen though. Chocolate & vanilla during one part of the year and chocolate-mint during a different part of the year.

Samoas and Tagalongs, though when I sold them as a kid in SC we called them Caramel De-Lites and Peanut Butter Patties :-)

I like the original ones - half chocolate sandwich cookies and half vanilla sandwich cookies. :) A coworker promised me a box this spring!

Samoas!!! And the Lemonade ones - my friend was a Girl Scout all the way up into high school, and she would bring tons of boxes to share with me. Yum. :D

They have started we are in initial order time.  And you are not weird, loads of folk freeze them.  Many freeze the thin mints and then eat in the summer over ice cream.

Sadly those are not being made but we have a new lemon in honor of the Girl Scouts 100th Birthday, may need to send you a box of those as long as you REALLY like lemon.

*nudges we ship*

We sadly are not selling those for the second year in the row.  We only get the top six flavors to sell.

The lemon ones!!! HEAVENLY.

Oddly enough, I don't care for thin mints. Pretty sure I am the only one, lol.

Samoas and Tagalongs, though when I sold them as a kid in SC we called them Caramel De-Lites and Peanut Butter Patties :-)
They all have weird names now. I don't even know what to call them!

Peanut Butter Patties and Sandwiches. loooooooooooooove.
Fun fact- Take Ritz cracker, spread with peanut butter, top with ritz cracker, dunk in chocolate - year round PB Patties!

We haven't had door-to-door Girl Scouts in years ;~; I still have some boxes in the cupboard that I got last year though... Yay front-of-Walmart Girl Scouts =D

If anyone can not find a Girl Scout in your area to get any, let me know. *winks*

Yeah, I was really surprised. Also that she came to the door cause that doesn't seem to happen anymore.
The next day we saw some being sold in front of a store too.

I always used to love the caramel delights but the cranberry ones are fast becoming a new fav. PS I HATE the new names, or the other bakery names we now have. We used to call them basically what they are, a peanut butter sandwich is two peanut butter cookies with peanut butter in the middle, not a do-si-so. What the heck am I supposed to do with something called a do-si-do. I ain't eating it! And a Samoa is a country, which I'm not even sure has coconuts. Its 80% rainforest. I don't do thin mints even though I love mint, I don't like the chalky cookie in the middle. Just like oreos are too chalky and gritty.

I think every Samoan I've met would find that very, very funny!
Taro and Coconuts.
Trust me.

They've had those names as long as I can remember!  And my first year in Girl Scouts was over 15 years ago now.  But when I ordered cookies from my cousin in Indiana, they came with the more descriptive/generic names.  So I was expecting Samoas and got Caramel Delights (or something like that).  So I think the names are a regional thing.  They've always had the fun silly names in my area.  (and I don't like oreos either, but I adore Thin Mints.  You should try them frozen!  It totally changes the texture)

Samoas! It's like an addiction...massive addiction.

I do like to keep a box of the mints frozen to crush for ice cream toppers and grasshoppers (for us drinking age people)

Samoas for me, Lemonades for Hula, PB sandwiches for my DH and whatever she can get her hands on for Gennybean!
There are two different Bakers for GS cookies and one has the traditional names and the other has the generic names. Our sales start tomorrow, on my birthday!
Diamond, do you think we could maybe do a swap for some of the flavors we don't get for a few that you don't get?
