I'm glad I never fell down the hole to collect Funko. I have a couple I got as gifts, CM Punk and Sheamus, both wrestlers and a Freddy Kruger keychain. I do collect Applejack stuff but obviously will not be getting this one.

Stuff like this is why I customize my own Funko pops.  Sometimes it's hard to find the right "base" but I have been known to head-swap to get what I need and then I just put the rest of the pieces together randomly.  Because of that I have Tony Stark's head on Star-Lord's body.  I call him Tony Stark-Lord.

I have a bunch of the Collector's Pose pops that I need to customize still.

I'd keep an eye on the market just in case you get a good price for her. I got Burnt Daenerys (from a three-pack) for dirt-cheap because someone picked up her and Khal Drogo second hand out of box, and the price was heavily cut due to a) no Rhaegal and b) unboxed. I also nabbed a Red Error Dany for only £10, I was utterly shocked but she is legit and MIB!

Not exactly a new release, but I spotted the toysrus 5 pack with Queen Haven in my Walmart. Since it came out I assumed it was a Canadian exclusive, hopefully next time I visit they are still there.

I had the same reaction! It was so surprising! I live on the East coast and we usually do not get much in our stores. Hopefully we will get to go back before they all sell.

Hasbro is a toy company- Why aren't they making toys?!

They do make toys. Everything is going up though, and that means their prices are going up,and in this economy people have less $ for fun things. Given the fact that MLP has so little variety to offer little girls, it's like the snake that eats its own tail. Just a self perpetuating cycle. Wouldn't surprise me if they start axing brands that aren't doing well to put more money into their brands that do sell well. Such is business. MLP may possibly end up with JatH and Fairytale Birds.

Have you seen all the Care Bears and Fur Real Friends? And discouting brand with different niche than MLP like Monopoly or Transformer. Hasbro is too big to care about their once golden child. The Care Bear Hype is rediculous, we even have a (if not more) Care Bear Café here in South East Asia. The worst part is Care Bears are actually made with soft fluffy fabric with good stitch, while the quality plastic of pony body and hair went nose dived.

MLP couldn't stand out from all the unicorn/cute retro vintage/cottagecore craze or keep up with the kids, Hasbro wants to play it safe and chaep, a loop of self-fulfilling prophecy. and Hasbro will just occasionally gave us G1 Blossom for 10th times.

Up here Miniso sells the Care Bears. Seems to look legit with original tag and heart on the bum.

I don't really know which thread this belongs in, but I was in the county town today and their HMV had a couple of pony clothing items. One was a greyscale t-shirt featuring DC surrounded by ponies, including several in the foreground with no symbol. The other was some kind of knitwear jacket? It was quite big and I only saw it folded, but it looked like it had Firefly on it at least (in colour). The Tshirt was £24.99 and the other £64.99 (!!)

I haven't seen these before, not in my local HMV anyway.

I also did see pony stuff in Game, but the only plush was Moondancer. I was rather surprised they had more range of characters than Smyths or Entertainer re G5 though. I saw at least 2 Zipps. o.o.

The Game store there is closing down though...so maybe not a great indicator. I can't remember if my local town one is still open or if it's gone already.

I think most GAME stores are merging with Sports Directs, that's what's happened with all the ones near me... unfortunately since I haaaaate Sports Direct.

Yes, I think they were truffleshuffle. At least, the tshirt was. I'm not sure about the other.

The county town does tend to get slightly more variety than ours but this whole area is usually slow off the mark...

That explains it with Game. What a weird merger though...

Nice to see Jazz Hooves and Queen Haven. It's a shame that these are smaller, though. The 3-inches are usually of lower quality.
