I got this g4 rainbow dash a month ago. She arrived a few weeks ago and has no wings and is posed differently. I’ve seen a few other images of her like this and a video. But those are the only ones I know exist. The seller said she was a factory error I’m not sure if this is true. She is also bigger than a normal g4 and is in pretty good condition. I got her for 30$. Does anyone know how much she’s worth or if she’s a prototype?. Most likely bootleg. Some of the other mane 6 characters are made in that way too from I assume the same people. I wish I had pictures, they're cute imo.

She does have markings on her hooves so I’m not sure it says 2010 hasbro with my little pony on it she appears on the taobao page in mylittlewiki

Likely a factory sample (error) pony, her sculpt and mane rooting match the Fashion Style ponies! These were quite common to find on Taobao during G4, there are definitely fakes but also many legitimate factory sample ponies in odd colors and combinations!

I've seen ponies like these but I didn't know they were common since whenever I saw them they'd usually go for a very high price also I heard a lot of people saying ponies like these are worth a lot I usually see them go over 100$

I'm no expert on G4 stuff, but the general rule with most MLP is that specific ones go for more money than other ones, depending on what people are most looking for at the time.
Someone with better knowledge will be able to be more specific, but it does seem like she's a factory error or an experiment bearing in mind G3 Dash had no wings.

I originally thought maybe g4 rainbow dash wasn't going to have wings and that's why she was made like that to look like the original g3 one but was given wings later

Yeah, the ones that go for $$$ are the ones that are drastically different from their mass production counterparts, such as the sample White FS Celestia with glittery wings and some of the regular brushables with unique hair colors that didn't make it to production!
Sometimes samples are made to test vinyl colors or hair/body/eye screening combinations, sometimes they're legitimate errors made in the factory etc- this is very commonplace with all toys but happens more frequently with rooted hair toys like ponies and dolls, and it's interesting every time a sample leaks onto Taobao! Some of them become highly valued and sought after, some of them are less sought after and thus don't go for a lot.
I'd say 30$ was a good price for her!

Is she usually priced higher? She also feels different from a normal g4 pony

I think $30 is a good price for her! Any of the Taobao factory samples are gonna be more expensive than a normal one. The G4 FS ponies feel slightly different than the 3 inch ones. I'm not sure an exact price, but these can get pretty high.

she is less squishy from a smaller pony but I also noticed this could just be for bigger ponies because I own a applejack about the same size as her and she seems to be made of a different material
