First Look at G5 Toys

I really like these. I see some reused accessories but I can totally see these being tons of funs for little ones since there's a tangability...like, the slime is a good move. The stickers and pom poms, a little cheap but I can see parents supplying further pom poms for their kids.
The figures themselvels look very sweet! I feel like they should be smaller than three inches, but that's probably an excellent size for them. I do hope we will see brushables in this size in the future, but I'm very excited for these as is.

They look better then I expected, I personally would change the neck (I personally feel like the head is in a weird position, maybe if the neck was changed a bit and the head was longer it would looked nicer to me).
I really like the moving legs as well as the accessorises. They really look like they would be a fun toy for kids.

The molds are pretty cute here and the gimmicks are fun too. I hope Izzy's is as close to what she does in the movie as Sunny's and she just plays Frankenstein with cute animals alone in the woods all day.

i'm surprised nobody really complained about pipp's phone not being horsey or whatever lol.

I think I remember seeing talk that a lot of bronies have a problem with it for... some reason....

i mean, i guess our traditional idea of a touchscreen isnt very hoof friendly, but i'd expect them to be more open to it? one of the early-early fandom memes was luna with a gameboy, lol
or maybe we're fine because its just a natural evolution of this

I think some of us were poking fun at the smartphone back when it first showed up but yeah it's hardly the first time they've done stuff like this, haha.

Judging from the small pictures at least, I think the figures look nicer than the CG promotional images. Very interested in mad scientist Izzy

I hope these aren't the standard line of G5 toys, MLP just isn't MLP without brushable hair. The playsets themselves are pretty cute though. Izzy seems to be an eccentric crafty kind of pony, and I'm all for that. I wonder if the flying Pomeranian mentioned in the press release will be her pet?

Well, if its any comfort,  we've seen a couple of toys with very luxurious looking hair.  I'm thinking they'll have many sizes of toys, with both proper and moulded hair.

I like Izzy herself but her playset is less exciting. Though I do like the furniture.

I'm not super fond of molded hair, but I have to have that Sunny! They're both really cute But the smoothie playset is adorable - and she has skates!
