Introductions / Hello, Hello, Hello, I'm back!
« on: July 06, 2018, 06:12:10 AM »
You guys probably won't remember me as the last time I posted years ago when you helped me name my puppy(I chose Pinkie Pie) so I'll re introduce myself!
I'm everyone calls me Pinks!
My name on Facebook is Michelle Pinks Channon and I've made lots of pony friends on there :)

I am wife to Tony of 16 years, Mum to Anthony 15, Lewis 14, Taylor 12 & Saskia 10(my boys are all diagnosed with ASD & ADHD), and we have 6 dogs(Peaches, Jubilee, Mickey, Pinkie Pie, Vinnie who are chihuahuas, and Rufus is a Vizsla.
I am a baby loss Mum to Hope, Angel & Little Baby who were lost to early miscarriage and my inspiration to set up the charity Little Baby & Co(www.littlebabyandco.com) established for 7 years. We provide suitable wraps, gowns, teddies & keepsakes for babies born asleep under 16 weeks of gestation as we believe every baby deserves dignity no matter how tiny. We won an award October 2017 for our work from The Butterfly Awards and are also shorlisted at this years awards for UK Support Organisation, I am passionate in the work I do and so proud.

I am crippled with painful arthritis, most days I use a mobility scooter to get around.
Exactly 2 weeks ago today(22nd June) I nearly lost my life as my knee turned septic, I had to have an emergency operation to wash the infection out of the joint, then a picc line that goes into the vein in my elbow, up my arm and into my heart to deliver daily IV antibiotics. I have to be off my medication for 6 weeks and my body will flare up with terrible pain. I'm home from hospital now and for the next 6 weeks I will have district nurses in daily to take my blood pressure etc and administer my IV antibiotics.
But I'm loving life after that frightening experience!

I've always had ponies around the house but decided to start actively collecting around 8 or so years ago, as I had two from my childhood I started by trying to get the others I had as a kid, and for years I would only buy ponies at bootfairs, charity shops etc and soon begun to seek outt certain ones I really liked!
In the last 3 years I've begun to seek out ponies by set starting with the original 6, I absolutely adore collectors pose which is my fave, I have the 12 birth flowers and some Italians and other random CP ponies.

I love really grubby un loved ponies with wild frizzy hair, I love to restore them!
I am new to the world of customizing and this is what will keep me occupied over the next 6 weeks of treatment and will be selling my customs via my Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/MyLittlePonyPinksPonies/
I'm also selling some ponies to help fund my tummy tuck after weight loss!
I look forward to getting to knew new pony people again!
