Pony Corral / Re: Scented ponies: no yellowing please!« on: November 07, 2019, 11:46:39 AM »
So... it's happening... My Moonstone's head is yellowing ...! It's more evident on the left side.
And my Starshine is white when I look at her from a frontal view, but I can notice a slight yellowing on her head when I tilt her. What a cruel fate!! I just hope it won't get worse. I hope someone can share some extra advice! 7

Pony Corral / Re: Scented ponies: no yellowing please!« on: November 01, 2019, 06:08:11 PM »You might be able to wash the scent oil off?I've always wondered if you could get rid of scents on ponies. Like if you didn't like it? Is it something you have to get inside for? I don't think that something like this can be possible... Depends what you're asking. If you're asking "will my ponies inevitably change color?" then the answer is "no, it is not inevitable. It might never happen." All my scented Rainbow ponies are fine except one. I'm just worried about yellowing... or about yellowish stains or yellowed heads... Issues like these regard also regular ponies (the Basic Fun Blossom I bought had yellowed head and I returned her for a substitution)... I also have a G3 Bubble Bath dispenser pony with similar issues (this one): visitors can't see pics , please register or login Well, her head becomes easily yellowed when the pony is stored in the dark, and returns to normal (but more white than lavender) when the pony is out! Overall, if scented ponies are very prone to yellowing (because of the scent oil), I just want to know if it's useful to keep them in contact with air (in order to avoid some strange chemical reactions that make the pony yellowed when it's sealed in plastic)... 12
Pony Corral / Re: different names for existing ponies?« on: November 01, 2019, 05:33:59 PM »
I love giving new names to my ponies! Although it's not simple to coin new names (but sometimes I use existing words).
it's quite hard to understand for non-italian speakers, anyway... here they are! G1: Moonstone: Stellario Starshine: Antares Parasol: Sombreila Skydancer: Mamma Unicelo Windy: Unicorno G3: Spring Fever: Primuvella Strawberry Swirl: Fragolisia Bumblesweet: Mieldorì PeriWinkle: Balenia DaisyJo: Elinfa Pinkie Pie: Aurosis Rainbow Swirl: Sorbette Desert Blossom: Caliencia Wysteria: Liladel Rainbow Flash: Gaudia Silver Glow: Volodea Fancy Free: Desioara Sapphire Shores: Zefidra Jade Garden: Ireos Spring Treat: Tulipsa Starbeam: Sidereya Star Dasher: Adamanta 13
Pony Corral / Re: Scented ponies: no yellowing please!« on: November 01, 2019, 02:24:04 AM »Yeah, the scent oil(?) has a yellowish tinge. It's most noticeable on Moonstone and Sunlight. (Strangely not noticeable at all on Starshine. My scented Starshine is pure white . . . Smells great too, she's my favorite of the set.) It is a color difference, but the discoloration is a separate issue and comes in splotches rather than being uniform over the entire pony. So, you think it's useless to keep them out of the box, in contact with air... 14

Updating:
Ponies are arrived today! And yes, it's the scented version! They are all B - E - A - U - T - I - F - U - L !!! although, some of their scents are... ehm... weird! But they aren't too strong (two of them have very light scent) and, anyway, I like they are scented. I immediately removed them from the box and now I'm keeping them out in the open, on my shelves, in order to avoid yellowing... For now they are in perfect condition! At the opposite, one of the collector ponies arrived with them, is discolored!! So, this issue doesn't regard just scented ponies... I received a Blossom with yellowed head and now I'm returning her in order to get a new one in replacement. It happened to me too! I ordered what the seller sold as the “scented” set, but got surprised when the unscented set got here instead! Thanks for posting this!! So, an unscented version of this gift set DO exist!!! I suppose yo've been lucky! I don't think the smell fading will save them from discoloration . . . What makes them discolor is whatever oil or product is put on their bodies (or possibly melted directly into their plastic). So ... from now on, let's put all ponies in the fridge!! Your comments reassure me... I realized the discoloration it's not so probable... 15
