I'm in love with Flower Wishes!!! There I said it:)

Hi everypony,

I just felt like proclaiming my love for a slightly unexpected pony!

A couple of weeks ago I was in the US and managed to do a pony run and picked up Sunny Rays, Cherry Berry, Lyra, Trixie and the TRU Collector Pack etc. Got home opened them all up, and despite me expecting Nightmare Moon to be my new prize pony possession, I am strangely drawn instead to Flower Wishes! I have no idea why, as I am bored to tears with Pink Ponies and Pinkie rereleases.... But this little lady has the perkiest green eyes that make me smile any time I see her!

This is even odder as I am not a fan of the glittery cutie mark, or the fact she has a nasty indent due to the crappy packaging... But her cute little eyes make me see past her flaws!

Anyone else feeling the love for Flower Wishes? Or any other unexpected G4s?

I haven't felt like this since I was Dewdrop Dazzled a couple of launches ago !

I didn't care too much for Flower Wishes when I first saw her, but the more I look at her, the more cute she is to me. xD Whenever I get the TRU set, I may just end up keeping her. <3

Yes!!!!! She is my favourite in this set - maybe its because I like pink and I like earth ponies but I love the MLP-ness of this particular pony.

I had the same thing with Plumette.  I got her because she was on sale, she was different, and I liked her peacock pet...and I just wanted to get a pony, lol.  Now I am totally in love with her.  She sits on my monitor (precariously, because monitors are no thin these days), and she's one of my favourites.  I wish more of the G4s had 4 different hair colours.  It reminds me of G1 TE ponies.

She and nightmare moon are the main reason i am getting 2 fan favourires sets. 1 mib, the rest to display.

I like Flower Wishes more than I thought I would, based on the original Toy Fair pics. Like everyone else... I wanted the set for Nightmare Moon!

I actually think she and Cherry Berry make a good pair. Both of their designs really harken back to the 80s MLPs, IMHO... Especially Cherry Berry. Something about her just reminds me of Pac Man!!!

But I agree... I think it's the fact that Flower Wishes has green hair that really appeals to me! She's "unique" among the slew of Pink ponies!!!

I absolutely love her, I was not that excited during the preorder stage but I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her in person. She is now my second favorite from the set, Nightmare Moon still comes in first though

Flower Wishes is very pretty but my new favorite is definately Lemony Gem I just love her color scheme.

Flower Wishes is such a perplexing pony for me because I can't figure out what the second color in her hair is. Light yellow? Light green? White? I've finally ruled out pale pink. I can't tell, and I have her, deboxed, sitting right next to me. Such a confusing pony-- and I swear I'm not colorblind. Am I? D8

She is a cutie though I like Nightmare Moon and Trixie better, but she's probably my third favorite from the set. I love the Pinkie Pie eye style best

i love her colouring, she has sure grown on me, she's like a little surf chick with a hibiscus flower on her rump and with blondy seaweedy colour hair, shes like summer and spring rolled into one

I had the same experience last week with Sunny Rays.  I figured she would be my third favorite from this latest wave (ahead of Cherry Berry who I'm not fond of- there have been too many cherry-themed ponies lately) but since yellow isn't a favorite color of mine I wasn't expecting to be enthralled with her.  And then I saw her on the shelf with the rest of her wave and I thought to myself 'she's a lot prettier than I expected.' 

When I opened her up I really got to see how pretty she is.  She's now near the top of my favorites list.

I picked up the Fan Favorites set on Saturday and haven't opened it yet.  So at the moment I can't comment on Flower Wishes, but she isn't moving me much from inside her box.  We'll see if I change my mind once she's been liberated.  Viva the PLM (Pony Liberation Movement)!

I don't know if there's a specific term that those who open their ponies use versus those who keep them in the packaging.  If there is, I've missed it.  If not, I'll submit PLM for the group's approval.
