I loooves me some Twinkle Eyes and So-Softs. They're way to pretty for their own good. I want sooo many of them!
Big Brothers, Mountain Boys and Baby Brothers wanted! Well not all of them, but a lot of them.
I think the Shimmer Ponies and Dazzle Brights are gorgeous.
Green and yellow ponies. Need more. Make more.
Multi colored hair is the best! Especially with three to four stripes.
I'd love it, if they started making more vertical striped hair ponies like the Sunbrights and Berry towns.
I love the original cartoon. In my personal opinion it's the best of them all!
G3 ponies rock! I love the diversity of colors and symbols, especially the newer ones. (Too me) like light blue with dark blue, or blue gray with yellow. They also have the best seasonal and tropical themed ponies.
New unipegs on a horsey mold please. If fakie companies can do it Hasbro surely you can too. They don't have your decades worth of millions in their bank accounts.
-
I agree on Twinkle Eyed, at first glace I didn't like diamond eyes... but after seeing them, I must admit they are one of the best series about colours. JUST. PERFECT.
I have a special crush for unicorns too, and TAF (Night Glider!!), and the Merry go Round!!
What I do LOVE about ponies is that they are about a lot of thema and colors, and so everyone can found something that fits her/his desire.
And yes, Multi-colored hairs! That's one of the very best point of the Twinkle. And so the Rainbow curls, such lovely girls!

I like ponies.

I like ponies.
Very profound truth. :ohyeah:
-
Unicorns are my favorite!
-
Unicorns are my favorite too.
I also love pegasus and sea ponies
G1s and G3s are my favorite generations
I love older pony art
Glow n Shows and sparkly, translucent ponies are so beautiful.
I don't like Perfume Puffs, their hair looks like they've become a ratted tangled mess at the bottom of a toy box
I'm not fond of changelings, they look like talking, quadrupedal Swiss cheese brought to life
-
-Wind Whistler is best pony period. Fizzy is close second.
-G1 is the best overall generation. G3 also had good toys.
-There should be unicorn and pegasi stallions.
-The Weather Witch and Wantall >> Megan and the Witches from the Volcano of Gloom (I don't know how popular this opinion is)
-Baby dragons >> bushwoolies as princess lackies
-Big yes to so softs and twinkle eyes
Oh, and I like ponies

I love G1 & G3.
Twinkle eyed ponies are my favorites.
I love Blueberry Baskets.
I love the seasonal G3 ponies.
I think the eyelash princesses are ugly.
Glow 'n Shows are awesome.
The dragon attendants are adorable.
I love the Big Brothers, Mountain Boys, and Playtime Baby Brothers and wish there were more.
Stallion unicorns and pegasi would have been great!
G3 should have had more unicorns and pegasi.
G3 also should have had more of an even split among different colors for ponies' bodies instead of making so many pink and so few orange or green.
I love the Dutch ponies. Hopefully, one day I'll own one.
I love the G3 birthflower set.
There should have been toys of G1 villains, either those in the comics, those in the cartoons, or original villains.
G3 needed villains.
-
I love the G1 cartoon and I SO wish they'd made toys of some of the characters in it. What I wouldn't give for a nice figure of Tirac or Sting...
Twice as Fancies are adorable.
I LOVE the boy ponies, all boy ponies, they're all wonderful. I wish there had been unicorns and pegasi in boy poses in G1. (I know there *were* one or two in girl poses, i.e. Re Unicorno/Italian Majesty, but you know what I mean :p)
The princess dragons are adorable and I want more of them XD I prefer them to the Bushwoolies, too. (I like Bushwoolies in general, but their toys just don't do it for me really.. dunno why.)
I just love ponies in general, really, haha.
-
I think "I love ponies" mostly sums it up.
-
I think Mimic i one of the most unique looking ponies in G1!
I can't get enough of trying to collect and sort accessories!
-
Sparkles. All of the sparkles. They're mine! I won't share.
-

They were one of my favorite sets as a kid, especially Star Hopper.
-
I think most of my pony opinions are pretty popular. I adore all the loved sets, like TAF ponies (Night Glider being one of my favourites), rainbow curls, sparkle ponies and such. I also love the collectors pose, and I don't like the eyelash princesses. :P
-
Not sure if some of these are popular but they are postive!!

-I LOVE SWEETBERRY PONIES SO MUCH!!!! The whole set is just so well designed and goes together so well and the colors and the themes and just !!!!!!! ilove
I do too! And what's funny is I sold my childhood ones when I was 8 or 9 years old (Blueberry Baskets & Raspberry Jam), and I can still vividly remember their wonderful scents almost 25 years later.
-
The Sweetberries are just gorgeous!
-
I like pink ponies like G1 Twilight, Cotton Candy, and Pinkie Pie. I also like UK ponies especially the set with Gypsy and Snowflake and I love unicorns and have quite a few US releases. I love the grooming parlour, Peachy and Twinkles.
-
I love seaponies~ I'm partial to anything seahorse related since that's kind of my dad and I's family animal, since he is a single dad, but I really do love them.
-
I love the collectors' pose.
Their butts are so fat and it makes me giggle.
-
Sparkles. All of the sparkles. They're mine! I won't share.

I love all the Twinkle eyes.
I think all the baby newborn ponies are very cute.
I also love the very first set of baby ponies.
I also love all Big brother and Mountain boys.
I like the playtime brother baby ponies too and the Loving Families. There are so many I love.
I love all Unicorns and Pegasus ponies I never was extremely keen on the earth ponies but I don't mind them.
-
that i want more playsets
-
People who think that all older characters are prototypes and carbon copies of current characters irritates the crap outta me. It invalidates the fact that they have their own personality, history and way of handling situations. Plus it perpetuates misconceptions, confusion and for those who actually know otherwise, but do it anyway, flat out lies.
-
I also really love ponies! ;)
-
I also really love ponies! ;)
:silly:
-
Unicorns are the best! I used to lean towards pegasi, but I've been on a unicorn craze lately.
Yellow ponies are stunning, the same goes to ponies with multicolored hair.

OOOOHH yes, I hate this too. Especially when I see people say stuff like "oh in G3 Rainbow Dash was like *insert description here* but her current personality.." they're different characters!! Or when people call the ponies that the G4 main 6 were based off, the "Concept 6", I hate that. They existed waaaayy before the Main 6 did and they don't exist solely to be "the ones that the main 6 were based off"....
And I hate it when people draw Surprise with blonde hair >_< Her hair's chartreuse, dammit.

Carrehz your awesome. ^.^
I guess they don't like using highlighter markers for Surprise and Baby Surprise. Do they have chartreuse in those digital drawing pallettes?

Meh, everyone has their own way of viewing older generations. I imagine if you come in with G4 it is hard to realign yourself to see that there were generations and characters that were already established before FIM began. I find it annoying too, but I also kind of understand it, except where it gets to levels of offensiveness. I don't think that any of the mane six really represent any of the ponies people connect them to from the original eighties line. They have some loose similarities but they are really just themselves.
Rainbow Dash grew wings between G3 and G4. Considering that the only other example we have of 'wing-growing' is when Twilight grew them to become a princess (wings and horns), I'd be much more interested to see that if people are insisting on making G3 and G4 Dash connected, they started discussing the possibility it makes Dash in G4 some kind of illicit illegitimate princess ;) At least it would be imaginative XD.
...It's really hard not being able to type the number that comes before 2. Sigh. Stupid PC.
I think most early pony art draws Surprise with yellow hair. I actually prefer it yellow to the icky green colour they sometimes use, but that looks like being an unpopular opinion, so maaaybe I should take it to the other thread ;) But I remember being surprised when I first saw Surprise and Honeycomb irl and they had neon hair like Shady. I think I spent most of my childhood believing Shady was the only one with that bright hair colour xD
On the subject of prototypes/carbon copies, Surprise and Honeycomb are absolutely different ponies and are absolutely not clones. They are both amazing and epic ponies and I love them both.
-
OT But I think it sucks that computers are built to bite it within 4-5 years. I have game systems older then that and they work well! Computer companies need a big kick in the rear!

I think the trouble is that it's really hard to replicate Surprise's very distinct shade of highlighter yellow in flat digital shades. I dunno, maybe something about how the light hits the hair on the toy is really hard to reproduce? Anyways, that's how most of the art you see online ends up depicting her with either corn yellow or snotty green hair. :P I used to draw digitally and I would encounter this problem with trying to represent multidimensional color in a simplified style all the time.
-
I dunno, I prefer dull green!Surprise to blonde!Surprise. I particularly dislike it when people draw her with pale yellow hair - c'mon, Surprise has gotta be bright! XD But I'm rambling.

Yes, this!!! I love Honeycomb.

Ponies are fabulous!
Absolutely! And I bet that's the most popular opinion on the arena :)
-
Baby Ponies are cute!

I love the CP G1s. Those big rumps and shy down looking heads are adorable and they look great together on the shelf! :lovey:

a million times this
cus new moon dancer isnt the type to put a pony in a coma and g3 cotton candy doesnt like to eat flowers
-
All the yellow ponies, all the time. Can't get enough of 'em, even though there's practically millions of 'em. XD
I also absolutely love Rainbow Ponies; their multicoloured hair and glittery symbols always made me feel like they were extra special when I was a kid.
And there is nothing greater (to my mind) than finding a Sunshine Pony whose hair still changes colour in the light. :D

Hear hear! I don't even like yellow very much, but I sure do love a yellow pony!
