. “Don't store your ponies in ponywear - at least, not ponywear with red or pink shoes, it can stain the feet”
This made me think of soemthing else. If you decide you want to collect pony wear—and even if you don’t now, you might in the future (ask me how I know... <.< )— and would like to display it, hang onto or find some ponies that are in n poor condition (go to the Pony Fair and cruise the bait boxes...) that you won't be heartbroken about if they wind up with stains (which you won’t see anyway, because they’re covered up by clothes lol)
ETA: I stole this idea from Kitkatvintage, btw 😄

Choosing a set is great advice. I started out focusing on a symbol theme—anything with a space element on the symbol, or an ocean/water component, etc.
On the “have a budget and stick to it” theme—wise words!—watch out for ebay. The temptation can be to keep upping your bid until yikes, you’ve just paid $20 bucks for a five dollar pony. Plus shipping... Same concept—it’s gonna come back around at some point, so decide what you’re willing to pay, bid that, then (try to...) forget about the auction until you get a notification that you won (must think positively ha ha).

I recall that the RBD Camping Trip set seemed to be htf for a lot of folks when it was released, and at some point within the past year I searched for it on ebay. It doesn’t seem to come up alot. I have one and keep waffling on whether to sell it or not. G4s aren’t my favorites, and, of them, RBD is my least favorite... but the set as a whole is so darn cute...the little campfire...the little tent flaps...(Yeah, nope, not ready to sell it ha ha)

Have to say, this thread inspired me to go fakie hunting. Wound up with a yellow totsy, one of those lippy girls, a couple with supposedly moveable legs that I thought were cute, and two pretty fabric sequin-y Chinese ones (not really typical MLP fakies so much as little decorations, but SO KAWAII!). Waiting for them all to arrive now. ETA: oh! And four Soma ponies ❤️

I managed to deflock a SS Paradise as well (getting pics up is a pain, so I am glad someone else has one to show off LOL). The thing is, her flocking practically FELL off. No need to use anything stronger than warm water! And she looked so pretty and sparkly clean. So I thought, this isn't so bad, let's do another one (I had another super poor condition Paradise). ah ha ha ha ha ha.... Nothing like beginner's luck to get all grandiose about deflocking... I long for a deflocked Twilight, though.

Ponyfan
Is there anything remotely holiday-ish about her? she looks like a Funko mini with a hanger added. :-(

I don't like them all that much. Legs are ok, new poses are great, but the faces are goofy looking to me.

There's metal figurines of the Mane Six coming out from Fascinations: http://www.fascinations.com/metalearth/mylittlepony/twilight-sparkle
This link didn't work but I found them on the site- and... they're pretty cool!
They're available for preorder on Big Bad Toy Store dot com, if anyone is so inclined.

Thanks everyone! Glad to hear there value hasn't dropped to the $30s
I'm glad others chimed in! My guess was waaaay off. I got mine before G2s started trending. Not cheap but not $60++ either

I've checked a couple CVS around here and no luck. She doesn't even turn up on a google search! It's rare that I go to a lot of trouble to find a pony but if she really is 19"... I really do need her to guard my door at night. We have CVSs all over the place, here (like locusts, I swear) so...
It was a larger 24 Hour one and it was in the seasonal area if that helps.
Oh, I only looked in the toy area. New hope... lol Thanks!

This is a pure guess, but with their wings, if those are the correct wings for eaCh pony (no expert here) and assuming otherwise decent condition, no missing eyes etc, no less than $25, and certainly possibly more. I have seen them go for $35/$40. The Silver Swirl with orange horn --I do forget her real name,,, not as much as the others, but she doesn't turn up all that often either. Just depends who's looking, I suppose.
