Yesssssssssss! I am so looking forward to somepony(s) very nice sharing their G1 comics with us all  I have only ever read a few pages of G1 comic scans, but the canon and stories look so interesting and so different from what was animated!!!

Hi all, I'm still not dead, in case anyone was wondering  A few weeks back I got pdfs working on MLW and added a Library section. http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/LibraryBreyer600 of course had many books already scanned and kindly got the library started. She (and others) have asked the questions I had been pointedly trying to ignore, "what about G4 books?" "what about hasbro being a stickler for copyright?" After digging around I found this site which is a free open library that uses opensource software that anyone is free to use. https://openlibrary.org/I can't think of any reason why I can't get that same software running on the wiki's server.... so I will spend a few days on that before the end of the summer. If it takes more than a few days of banging my head against the computer it will have to wait... but best case scenario: -the wiki will have a free, legit library containing all the MLP/moondreamers/carebear/rainbowbrite/etc books from the 80s and 90s (and all the reboot biz we can stand)
-books could be borrowed and downloaded to kindle and all that kind of legit biz
-finally we can let little kids read our vintage books absol

OK! I think the wiki is back to 100% (sans my @mlw.org email working, I haven't even touched that yet, that's a server thing and not actually a mediawiki thing). The problem was *one* of the many, many mediawiki install steps that I *thought* I did... whatever I did it, it didn't stick.  So.... I found the step, and the step has been stuck. PLEASE let me know here in a message, or in this thread or another thread (dedicated to mlw problems maybe...) anything that you might find being glitchy on the wiki. If your concern is content related, someone else is going to have to change that for the time being.... getting interdisciplinary in my phd studies was a great idea until my extended family decided to tear each other to pieces over my late grama's estate  ...if anyone here is skilled at statistical analysis of fmri data plmk. ;;_;; as usual, if you are interested in an account just let me know in a message the user name you'd like and your email address =D absol

Thanks everypony for your kind words! I am a maniac for organizing and for my little ponies, it is so much fun to share organizing my little ponies with everyone!  The images issue has to do with thumbnail generation I think, that is, if an image hasn't been viewed at a particular size already, that size can't generate now because that is a kind of edit and all edits are off (or the folder hierarchy got out of order, or, or, etc.). But the original is certainly there as was mentioned, and you can still click on a grayed out image and see it it seems. It will be another few days until I can get back to working out the wrinkles of the new install. The wiki should be viewable again! Sorry for the lack of recent warning... =P I've been putting off rebuilding the server and everything for a while now, it was so out of date. I was starting to receive some pretty frequent warnings that the version of php the wiki used was no longer supported ;;_;; I'm still working on other areas of the server, e.g. email isn't working, and a few features still haven't been incorporated back into the wiki itself. Editing is still off, I have pretty busy week coming up, starting tomorrow, so editing might not come back until after that. One new feature from the update in particular that I am looking forward to is that the wiki should now be able to host pdfs... I have been dreaming of a mlp ebook library (i.e. scans of the old books/comics) for sometime now... how does that sound?

Hi everypony! The short version is sometime before August My Little Wiki is going to be very down for a while for updates.
I don't know how long because I'm going to have to completely erase everything and then put it back for the updates and the last time I did that it took about a week... and I have much more to do this time. It's going to be a little while before I start but I thought I'd give yal a heads up, and see if anyone had any MLW questions/comments/concerns in the mean time.
I'll let you know when it's happening once I know!
Gmail more and more likes to randomly bounce back messages I send people from absol at mylittlewiki.org, so there are a few people who have not gotten messages back from me. Taffeta - gambarou! My phd (and other undergrad major) is linguistics. Japanese is my main second language, gotta have second languages as a linguist! I've promised to work on ASL (American Sign Language, not to be confused with BSL - British Sign Language), and also been promised in return I'll get to work on JSL (Japanese Sign Language). All those sign languages are completely different from one another btw =D It's going to be super fun.

Oooh, yes please! I would love to add the pix! I can also make you an account if you want to makes edits yourself. I will soon own this playset with the Milky. I'm insanely excited. It looks like a laundromat/salon playset to me, from what I've seen. I guess we'll know soon enough!

I think this house was the substitute for the (probably) unreleased "Oshare House" shown in the Takara catalog. I liked the house in the catalog a bit more.

I don't know IDs of people who bid. I'm thinking the person I talked to put a bid in. If not, we just mentioned it.
I used to try to keep track who owned what, however most of it goes on behind the scenes.
I think the information on how many of confirmed takaras needs to be taken out. It's not accurate. Maybe just state confirmed it exists, or not.
Interesting, I didn't realize how much of the information on extant takaras was on the down low. I will update the wiki accordingly, thanks!
