There has been some discussion about this on the EAH thread of the MHArena. In Rosabella's diary it mentions something about it. Basically in the Beauty and the Beast story a narcissitic prince gets cursed to be a beast. Who do we know that fits that description? Someone had said that Dexter may have been slated to be the beast but I don't remember reading that anywhere. Also, in the story, Belle isn't a princess 'til she marries Beast. Rosabella is a princess. Whenever I start getting too technical with this series I get a headache. So many plot holes.

Ponyfan it does get confusing with the stories. I haven't seen Rosabellas diary yet but she is the daughter of Beauty and the beast - right? so she would be a princess cos although her mom wasn't, she married the beast who was a prince. How that would work with previous gens I have no idea - same as how does Faybelle curse Briar as a baby when Briar is all grown up and they are the same age *shrug* .  But then each fairytale story has a variation to it anyways (which is mentioned in EAH - something like 'the  story will work itself out' " ) and I don't  like to try and get all technical and figure it out. Let Mattel do that lol

I wasn't really supposed to be buying dolls....  but.... I couldn't resist. Her and Gooliope are the two that I had to have this month. And then I need to stop.

Thanks everyone. I like know which character is the son/daughter of who but I agree with everyone else that it gets confusing if you think about it too much.  I love Rosabella. She's on my want list now.

Awesome review, Raye! As always I was afraid she'd look too much like Briar since they both have pink streaks in their hair, but Rosabella looks drastically different which I like. And they are different shades of pink so I'm happy hehe. And look! She has a chin! I don't mind the pancake faces, but I like the new look as well

You're not alone. I felt the same way but finally caved for the adorable clothes and addictive stories I wonder if they'll ever release the main characters with face sculpts that aren't pancakey.

I wasn't fond of the moon face at first, but it kinda grew on me. I only have 2 dolls so far, but I'd like a couple more.
