Welcome! I also had to google ASoiaF, as I hadn't heard that acronym yet. I love love love the books and just finished binge watching the most recent season (we don't have HBO, so I have to wait for the bluray). You should check out the Dollhouse too if you like dolls! We have all sorts in there.

How lucky to have had the mail order ponies! I only had my one little baby Kellogg's pony from Christmas many, many years ago. The boy ponies are some of my favorites, though I don't have many. The Mountain Boys are my favorites of them all. I have Sunburst and he's AMAZING.

Welcome!! I think your English is fantastic (better than some native english speakers I have known, honestly). Finding ponies at flea markets and thrift shops is always so exciting. I think it's wonderful that your parents took you hunting as a kid. We have fans of all generations here, but the G1 collectors have been our primary member base and we are still going strong. I hope you enjoy the forums!

Welcome! I have bought many ponies on eBay, but I do prefer to find them on the forums. The members here tend to be more knowledgable and the prices more reasonable as a general rule. Welcome to the Arena!  I remember when the G2 ponies came out and I didn't like them because they looked so different. But they have really grown on me since I rediscovered ponies as an adult. I especially love the babies! Good luck with your collection!

I have an old 80s CPK doll somewhere. She has blond loop hair, but is totally naked without accessories. All I know is that she has a signature on her buttcheek lol

AHHH YOU GUYS! My ex husband used to make fun of my dolls and I was smart enough to never let him know what they cost, even though I worked my ass off to be able to afford them. My boyfriend has been my best friend for 9 years and knows all about my dolls. He's talked me into buying several of them. He just asked to borrow my computer and paid off half of my remaining balance for my Momonita layaway! I'm keeping him.

I haven't brought home a doll since Juniper (my DZ Angela) in January. But Momonita has been preordered and will be mine! My boyfriend saw me looking at her over and over and told me to buy her if I liked her that much. I can't wait!
