^ouch!

My neighbor's german shepherds keep getting out.  Three times yesterday!  They are nice to humans but aren't friendly to other dogs.  So I have to drive my dog to a park for walks.  It's getting to be annoying.  They promised to fix their fence and keep their doors shut... last year.

I'd love to take your colder weather!

We're still waiting for any sign of fall. If it even does, it's barely been getting below the 70s for overnight lows. I'm the kind of person who would much prefer it not even to hit 70 for a high.

There is a cool down on the way, so there is improvement.

I'm with you. I forget where you live, is it Florida? Well, it wasn't my decision to move here anyway. Really wish I could afford to go back to Wisconsin though that might be too cold for me now

I live in Oklahoma. No chance in the world I could survive in Florida. I think I would always be depressed. Oklahoma's climate always gives me so much depression, especially as the climate change has been making summer take over more of the year and winter diminish. I've lived here all of my life and still can't adjust to the climate.

I actually know someone who was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Florida. Despite growing up in Michigan, she is now someone who considers temperatures like the 60s chilly and I can't understand. So if you're like her it is possible you might not be able to handle the Wisconsin winters anymore. Not that I could blame you, as I know the winters are brutally cold up in that region.

---

My trivial complaint of today has been a pesky headache.

I just got a voicemail:

This message is for (my name).  We are trying to reach (coworker's name).  If you can have her call us at (phone number).

Um...since when am I your personal assistant/secretary?  Isn't contacting this person YOUR job?  Why am I suddenly their babysitter?  Why can't they contact my co-worker at the number she would have given them?  Not to mention that I Googled the number and the company calling closes at 6 pm.  They called me at 5:59 pm.  Even if I was right there with my co-worker (we both got off at 5 and live 20 miles away from our workplace in opposite directions) she wouldn't have been able to call them before they closed.  Great way to do business.

I didn’t see my dog’s food dish and put my foot on it by mistake. My kitchen floor is tile so my foot slid across the floor on top of the food dish for a few inches.

An older lady remarked on my weight today at the thrift.  :stressed: I impolitely said "Thanks, I have a disease" and went to check out for my stuff. I'm still trying to get up to a healthy weight and I don't enjoy being reminded that I look like a twig, especially when I'm just sick. :cloud:

Fan factions. I seriously don't even know where to begin to explain the lack of logic involved.

Spoiler
So in a discussion the other day, I expressed an unpopular opinion about some characters in an anime/manga series. I did make it really clear that it was just my opinion, but apparently I stepped on a community minefield.

Apparently my opinions were not correct because they didn't adhere to the established fan faction rules of how characters interact and which characters can be discussed in rabid detail and which can't.

Total double standards fail, since the same people who got on my case for saying positive things (which are backed up by the manga as it happens) about x character spent THREE HOURS yesterday wailing and babbling about another character, one of them calling him her husband and the other saying stupid things like her tears had all dried up (he didn't even die, seriously) over the latest events in the story.

So I'm not allowed to express an opinion on something that's actually in the manga, but it's fine for them to marry the character now? And that makes ME the deluded and obsessive one?

*headdesk*

Also it seriously bugs me when people call anime characters their wives or husbands. Like...no. Sorry, but no.

@Ponyfan :hug:

Sleep loss and general malaise. :(

My neck has been acting up... I fell down a flight of stairs years ago, and my neck has given me trouble ever since, despite no fracture or break ever being found. I just went to have more x-rays done on it the other day (doctor’s orders). I really hope a solution can be worked out for the pain, headaches, and stiffness... it’s getting hard to manage. :(

Thank you Taffeta and BlackCurtains. Today has been better but both of my arms are still sore from the shots I got yesterday.

@ Taffeta -

Spoiler
It's awful, isn't it? I'm not involved in fanfiction communities, but behaviors like you described are exactly why I avoid participating in fandoms - vintage MLP aside, of course. I fully understand being passionate over a series, but some people get unhealthily riled-up over something that, at the end of the day, is meant for entertainment.

Hope you guys that are feeling ill recover soon!

My complaint is borderline TMI (female problems, lol) so I'll spoiler it:
Spoiler
My PMS has been getting considerably worse over the past two years. I thought once I got out of my teens that it would even out, but nope! No need for me to track it, I can always tell when it's coming by the depression that precedes it. :cloud: Diet changes and regular exercise are helping, but it's been a slow process.
