I had just laid down in the bathtub to enjoy a nice and quiet me-time with a good book, soft music and a bathbomb smelling of mango when one of the cats decided to come and do a smelly number two in the litterbox.. I did not have a nice moment after that :pout:

I can't find my nail clippers  :pout:

Had this happen last week. Three pairs of clippers, all missing. Turns out my mother had all 3. No idea why.

Said goodbye to TRU :(

Finding it hard getting the next stage of my thesis started. I have 1700 words so far. Most of them will probably need replacing.

Uni staff still on strike so again having to break the picket line on Wednesday to ensure I don't get fired.

Uni HR/Payroll getting their tax codes muddled so a lot of money was taken wrongly in tax and won't be repaid till end March.

Every time my computer does an update, my google browser can't shut down properly.  The only way I've found to fix this is to clear off all my cookies, which means I have to sign back in to every site I use.  Every. Single. Time.  This is only a problem I have on the Dell computer that I use at work.  And because I work at a library, re-creating artwork for AV materials, I use the internet a lot to get bits and pieces and to access covers I've already made/uploaded for future use.  It isn't a problem on any other computer I've ever used.  Just Dell.  I really hate Dell computers.  They don't know how "sleep" is supposed to work, either.  I have it set that if I press the power button, it's supposed to go to sleep.  It shuts down, even if you accidentally bump the button for less than a millisecond.  If you choose the sleep option instead of shut down, it still shuts down completely.  I"m sorry but if you can't get simple functions to work, you really shouldn't be trying to sell computers.

Oh, I did that twice.  It's not fun.  The first time I ended up sleeping on the couch because my bed was too flat and I couldn't get up and down and I couldn't breathe at all when I was flat on my back.  The second time was worse so I went in just to make sure it wasn't something serious (like a heart attack) because it hurt so much to breathe.

I just went and duffered my own childhood by considering the fact that the last two fights in Sonic 3 and Knuckles take place in the sky and in space. Oh, to live in a world where there's no such thing as altitude sickness and everyone can survive in a vacuum without any protective equipment. :|

I just had to empty our savings account to pay bills!

My husband didn't get his pay check this month because the people in charge forgot to renew his contract in time.

It just really reminded me how badly prepared we are economically...
Expecting a child in late summer of this year.

I'm in a job training program that doesn't pay anything yet, but hopefully will someday in the future...

So, I'm ready to sell a big chunk of my pony collection but I have no energy to fix them up and take photos and do all the necessary work. Bleh! T_T

Getting toward the bottom of the box and there are no raisins in my bowl of Raisin Nut Bran. Doesn’t get much more trivial than that.

Long overdue a visit to the hairdressers, so went today for a colour touch-up and cut + blowdry.

Yeesh, why are they so expensive?!?!

Just expenses right now, and had to repair our front door, the prior owners put the wrong, and upside down, cylinder on the door.  At least the door is ok, I wonder what else they cheapened out on.

This book. I love Mary Shelley but The Last Man promises an early dystopian plague story and instead gives us Painfully Extensive Accounts of the Emotional Turmoil of Posh People. Perhaps if each sentence was trimmed down by about 17 words apiece, then it'd flow a bit more smoothly and it'd do a decent job of creating emotional stakes for when the plague actually hits but as it is, I'm just feeling irritated and disappointed. I'ma have to go read Frankenstein again to heal my broken heart afterwards. :| This is The Night Land all over again (and there I was thinking Hodgson could do no wrong!!!)

Ahh, yes, authors of the Victorian Lit era wrote excessive amounts of prose because they were paid by the word.  Quite frankly, I'm surprised that Frankenstein is as short as it is.
