ok I am totally hooked and had a great time for both christmas and then my birthday to be able to give the family toys again to open up even though "technically" my kids are "too  old" for toys (but we all realize we are never actually too old if it makes us laugh and smile, right?)

so here I have to mostly thank amazon for helping me to fill out the sets to me adding in a bunch of pony-friends to the shelves these past month :-)

would love love love to find that unia that is a mystery shimmer verse but meantime am very content with all these new additions :-)

Lots of people came in today. I am on call with a friend and am very tired.

Coolest thing that happened was Nora found me a big bag of ponies and left it in my bin along with a G5 Sunny plush.

The other bags with no ponies has a Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron toy in it. I kept only that and threw out everything else in that bag.

They're layered characters whose motivations have roots, and whose negative actions are easier to understand. As opposed to Jerrica's which involved her cheating on her boyfriend with herself (or her other self)...stealing earrings from a museum because they looked like hers, running off with Riot for no reason and trying to kill Pizzazz at least twice using Synergy. Among many other things. Goodness knows what she taught kids xD. And don't get me start on "kick-the-plant" Rio.

I remember how I was so much on Jem's side after seeing Truly Outrageous, then I was able to watch the whole series and by the end I hated her so much *lol*. I've never been a fan of hypocrisy. At least with the Misfits, you knew where you stood. And when they displayed positive traits alongside the chaos, they came over as flawed humans rather than monsters.

I was always fond of Aja, Shana, Kimber and Raya as well, though.

I had 4 episodes on VHS so it wasn't until I was an adult I saw all of the episodes. I saw some other episodes besides the ones I had though, because I could remember a scene or two from different episodes. 

Some stuff really surprised me the first time I saw it. Especially the fact that at first, Rio tried to tell Jem that he already had a girlfriend and wasn't interested, but Jerrica as Jem kept insisting Rio hold her, kiss her etc... telling him "Jerrica will understand."

I feel like going off with Riot made no sense.

Also, the episode in Greece where Jerrica made another hologram persona  (Jamie I think) to try to test Rio because she felt like he would go out with anyone.  Rio was attracted to that persona as well so the writers tried to explain it as Rio being attracted to the real Jerrica even through Synergy's holograms. 



I don't think I've seen perfect hair on any of these dolls yet.  I have seen a few on Youtube though.

My grandma told me about the watermelon seed, but I don't remember if I ever believed it.

When my dad tried to swat/kill a fly and missed he'd always say "They're dangerous when wounded."  I remember being scared of flies when he missed them for a long time because of that.  I really thought they were something to be afraid of.

I barely remember it, but someone told me a unicorn would show up at my house if I really good/had a pure heart, something like that.  I told my mom about it and she told me that wasn't going to happen.

My dad remembers believing that if he set a ball of something on fire and threw  in the air it would stay suspended and create a little planet filled with tiny people.

I don't know why I was holding out they would be new ponies, aside from rockin robin. It's cool to see repros still, I am excited to get new pony wear (sorta!) I wonder why they're leaning heavy into the retro aesthetic rather than the actual G1 visuals? (Talking about the packaging specifically)

yeah they aren't fakies I wager, would throw in with the concept these are test or first run ponies.  Would love to find that ecuador was on the map making MLP.  I will ask family there to see if they can shed any more light on these guys :-)

YAY I finished buying the volumes of Time Stranger Kyoko I needed to complete it!
Also after 10 years I can finally soon also finish Juline. 

Amazon seems to be having a clearout sale, so many books are 1 in stock and on sale... which means I can get more of them when I have a gift balance from the surveys I do!
